I had exactly the same problem with the cheaper heads.

Tried some from ali express before. For some reason the little opening on the back of the brush kept catching my lip so ended up binning them. I have no issues with the genuine heads though.

They are very good and also sonicare ones can be sought too.

These particular 1's don't have an opening on the back of the brush. I really do find them exactly the same.

Bought some of these and they are nothing like the real ones in my experience you need a new head every 2 weeks. They are not much more off eBay.

there's a good chance the originals are made in China anyway and a possibility the factory are overmaking them and selling them off as compatibles.....

They're this cheap for a reason. No quality control. The bristles wont show wear like the originals. They will be likely harsher bristles that don't wear when used. Good luck sticking these in your mouth. :wink:

i bought similar if not identical ones off amazonmarketplace for my oral b 600 (still going strong after 5 years). i tired one of the brushes and it worked/ oscillated as it should, but when i tried to take it back off i couldn't, without completely destroying the head, whereas the original heads side on an off easily. while it is a cheaper option, just be prepared to buy a new/ replacement toothbrush if something goes wrong

I have bought these before, fine if you want a soft tooth brush head. However not similar to any oral b original heads, which are much firmer. They crop up on here every couple of months, never the same quality. Definitely not an identical product

I bought these before and they literally lasted a day each before a spring would snap and they'd so working. seems to be hit and miss.

I've stuck with the genuine ones but I buy the hard bristle ones my trick is put the head (bristle part under the hot water before use to soften the brisltes) I don't take any notice of the wear indicator (ie coloured dye) if the bristles are starting to curl then I will replace the heads, mine usually last 12 months plus so £2/head/year i'll live with that :confused:

​I havnt ordered from these, however they came in the exact same pack. The heads are listed as soft. Only the sensitive heads by oral b are soft. Hence might be good for people who use these. However I prefer the firmer heads and I guessing most people do, as that's the only option.

Not voting either way, brought some imitation brushes before but seem to have had the opposite problem, the brushes were much rougher than the genuine ones, could easily damage your teeth with them. Are these any better?

I wouldn't recommend buying these replacement heads as their bristles are extremely harsh in comparison to even a new oral b precision clean head, or even my value manual toothbrush's bristles. Unless you're using them for cleaning grout or some other cleaning with an old electric toothbrush don't buy. It's a shame as it fits perfectly and works the same but your more likely to brush away your enamel and cut your gums with even perfect technique with these.

I'm no dentist but bearing in mind that you can buy 'firm', 'medium' & 'soft' manual brushes from Boots etc the 'firm' ones would be ideal for removing grout from tiles etc.
Some people SWEAR by 'firm' manual brushes.

I have these ali exact ones and the oral B genuine head with two oral B brushes (batteries going) & I swear I cant tell which is which when I swap them.

Not 'exactly' the same.

Tried similar, days later switched back to Oral B. Some things are not worth being tight about.

Exactly the same design is about all that can be said about these heads. False economy

I can't reply to your comment directly because hukd app is not loading all the comments for me. maybe you're right but the original heads only come in one type of bristles quality and this is the harsh/hard version of the original and I've only used the original to date that's why these put me off they didn't seen safe. the original is the one with the logo in the picture.

I've used compatible heads in mine and guess what, the head didn't fall off and choke me, it didn't wear out after one brush (in fact it's 2 months now), my teeth didn't fall out or turn black and my own head didn't fall off due to the vibrations. My teeth and gums all feel very clean and healthy after brushing.

Guess I'm just exceptionally lucky judging by most peoples' experiences.

Have used AliExpress for a long time now. No problem with the heads I bought. Could not tell difference between these and the OralB. Website is amazingly good, superb multi language and any currency you choose. Most items are post free.

This doesn't last long also it makes noise and makes toothbrush vibrates so much

I've not tried the Sonicare Chinese knockoffs, but I bought boyf the "DiamondClean" x 12 for £4 Best Offer on ebay recently. He says the heads are much softer and don't last as long but seems happy enough. I always use a slither of Vaseline on the metal prong to make it easier to remove, not sure if that would help others concerned about that.

I bought knock off ones before with no issue, but then one came off the handle whilst I was using it - put me right off, to be honest.

same happened when I bought these cheaper quality ones. I now will only buy genuine, but stock up when they are on offer at superdrug normally.

How do you know that these heads are rubbish? Have you actually tried them? What would I gain by saying that they're exactly the same as genuine heads IMHO? I had a checkup last week & the dentist said that both my gums & teeth are great. I'm on my 2nd head now & have to say that I'll never go back to paying stupid money for heads, when these are no different.

These are total crap, have used them and the quality of the bristles is poor and the indicator to show useage is also very faint. Worst this is half of them stopped rotating within a few brushes. Better off spending more and getting originals.

I found they make your teeth sensitive after a while. The bristle tips damage the enamel because they are not made the same as the originals

How long did you use these heads before you got sensitivity? Did your dentist say the sensitivity was due to these particular heads?

Your reason that they caused sensitivity was due to them 'not the same as the originals'. Well if that were the reason, then every toothbrush and every other make of electric toothbrush head would cause sensitivity, since they are all different from the original oral b head.

Have you actually tried the actual heads the op took the time and effort to post?

These may be cheap but nothing replaces good head in the mornings!

The bristle tips are not smooth like Oral B.
Its like using a scourer, look at them under a magnifier.

It's common sense really, if you buy replacement heads from Aliexpress there will likely be Quality Control issues (eg stops rotating/not a great fit) or the bristles won't last as long (from reviews I've seen on Amazon anyway), but bearing that in mind it's worth throwing a few £ at if you're on a budget.

I must say, in quite a few decades of successfully cleaning my teeth and maintaining excellent oral health I've never felt the need to examine my toothbrushes under a microscope. Do you always examine yours in that way?

If something is causing me discomfort then I like to know why, nothing odd, just sensible.

So to get this straight, you bought and used in your mouth the particular brushes of this post, you then got sensitivity after a length of time you won't disclose, you took the brushes to your dentists, presumably he put them under a microscope and then declared that these brush heads were the cause of your sensitivty?

Well I'm pleased we got that sorted.

OK, user experience.

The very first one I tried out of the pack was difficult to put on, and impossible to remove without the use of pliers, and then left the inside plastic part on the stem. I think this supports any comments querying the description as "..exactly the same as Oral B replacement heads..." Not a major issue for me, as the brush turns and I don't need to regularly remove the heads, but clearly they would be pretty useless for a family switching the heads daily.

To the OP, I'm not that fussed personally as I knew what I was really buying, and I can use them, But I think it was your description that may have rattled some as the reality is the replacement heads are what they are - cheap with hit-and-miss quality control, reflected in the price. Oral B quality they are definitely not, and I think it extremely unlikely that the 20 I received would last 10 years of normal use!
