Probably one of the most brainless comments I have ever seen on here - I mean for starters let's think what relatively £40 in 1992 was worth compared to £50 now (in fact I remember streets of rage 2 costing 44.99) I mean back in 92 when chocolate bars were under 30p and you could get a can of coke in a vending machine for 35p - so relatively prices have probably doubled in that time for most goods yet video games, with there much greater production costs, have only risen about 25%. I often think how lucky we are that new release video games have not really increased much in the past 20 years (you can still get them sub 50 in shops) when average salaries are probably up 40% and cost of goods has generally doubled

Did anyone who took advantage of this promotion try applying the £15 voucher to a different PSN account (i.e. Was the voucher code tied to the account that was topped up by £100 or giftable)?

I never tweet, you can either call or email depending on preference, but only call if you have a service plan that will make it a free call (it's a normal landline number).
Before you do that try and find the terms and conditions on this deal and check all the dates on it and confirm you met the conditions.

Massive caveat empor: You can only have a maximum £100 in your PSN wallet, which means if you have ANY balance left, you have to spend enough to let you top up £50 twice.
Essentially this campaign is designed for you to hit that limit, forcing you to buy stuff on their store.

I used to gameshare on PS4 but it didn't work well, because my console wasn't the primary I was unable to use some of the PS Plus features like auto save upload. Worse whenever PSN decided to have issues the system couldn't verify I had a license to play my games so it put a padlock symbol on them and locked me out, I'd be playing a game and a message would pop up saying I would be removed from the game in 15 minutes.
My Xbox gameshare has worked a lot better, bought Division Gold Edition this morning for £32, so £16 each, no way would I pay £60 for the disc or the ridiculous £80 on the UK store. Deals like this don't have much appeal to me, even with the £15 bonus it's still way more expensive than the alternatives (disc or foreign stores).

Good deal but please don't load the credit to your PSN account until you are ready to spend it. The Sony PSN system has been hacked several times and people's accounts are being raided. I lost £100 of credit last year as someone bought games with my account, then used it to download the games. I was then stuck with games which I already owned physical copies off. As for Sony, they couldn't give a monkeys. So beware, PSN is being hacked all the time, and your credit is at risk.

This really is not worth it for those considering 3 years of PS Plus as it is £39.99 per year on the PS Store.
Would require a £87.38+£5 outlay to get the £120 required for three years PS Plus....£92.38
Currently with CD Keys one year of PS Plus is only £32.29 x 3 = £96.87.
Granted you would get a saving, but at £4.49 probably not as great as you were thinking.

This is a great deal, heated, but you do have to pay a lot to get it. I know they don't have to do it at all but would have been far fairer to have a incentive for buying £50 too, say £10 bonus instead of £15.

For those fortunate/rich enough to have a spare £90, go for it, its a great deal...

Sadly much as I'd like to get this I just cannot justify nearly £90 just for PlayStation store credit, especially considering my already large games backlog.
For those fortunate/rich enough to have a spare £90, go for it, its a great deal...
Starting tomorrow, 2nd March, top up your PlayStation Store wallet with £100/€100/AU$150 or more before 11.59pm on 8th March 2016, and we’ll give you an extra £15/€15/AU$20 to spend on whatever great games and add-ons you want.
