They do a baby one for hair and body at Boots - it is great. These may have more oils in, so may be less suitable for a baby, but still better that all the synthetic rubbish in J&J's for example.

Weleda products are great, thanks op (you might want to correct your spelling in case people are searching by name...)

I ordered some to try and some for my sister. Slightly off-topic - Would you say the Weleda shampoo would be good as a clarifying shampoo?
Was going to buy some Neutrogena from the US - it costs a bomb though (wahh, bring it back to the UK :disappointed:)
Or if anyone has clarifying shampoo alternatives I'll love you forever
'...when a shampoo is referred to as “clarifying,” it usually just means it’s a deep-cleansing shampoo that is designed to, yes, “deep clean....'. What does that mean? We’re basically talking about cleaning not just, you know, dirt and oil, but removing ALL unwanted residue.
'Clarifying shampoo helps with the removal of buildup from styling products that have been applied to the hair,”...“It can also remove chlorine, which is not usually removed from the hair by a softer, more mild shampoo, and can build up in your hair, giving it a very wire-like texture.'
If you’ve ever noticed that your favorite regular shampoo and conditioner doesn’t seem to be working as well as usual, it’s probably because it’s building up its own residue–and you need to clean the slate, and start over.
...everyone can benefit from a clarifying shampoo once a week. 'They generally make your hair feel ‘squeaky clean’ and can help bring back a better shine to your hair,'"
Of course, many of us get by without ever using it, so maybe just for those who use a lot of hair mousse/gel/sprays.

Thanks for the info. I would suggest that weleda shampoo won't work like a clarifying shampoo, as it doesn't contain the harsh astringents required to cut through the build of of plastics deposited by regular shampoos. However, once your hair is 'clarified', if you then only used a natural shampoo such as this you wouldn't get a product build up and therefore would no longer need a clarifying shampoo... (unless like you say, people use loads of styling products).

I read that fairy liquid....the original is a very good as a clarifying shampoo (in America they use a brand called Dawn ), a google search will come up with plenty of info if you are interested :-)

Cynical me assumes it may just be a ruse to get us to buy yet another bottle for our shelves. http://stylecaster.com/beauty/what-is-clarifying-shampoo/
