This seems like a bargain for a basic kit plus the bag. Most bags of this type cost at least this much by themselves.
The carry bag has a steel handle and comfortable shoulder strap for transporting your equipment with dimensions (LxWxH) 46x20.5x21cm
Includes:
Hammer
5m tape measure
Spirit level
Wood saw
Utility knife
Close quarter hacksaw
Scratch awl
Smal crosshead screwdriver
Large crosshead screwdriver
Flat head screwdriver
Mini hacksaw
Trigger clamp
Applicator gun
Try set square with spirt level

bad head day

I respect your opinion but my judgment of safety is based on the wood saw and the retractable knife. The quality of the saw blade is awful, it is soft and it can be seen where it was punched to create the teeth. The rake is awful and whatever set was in the teeth is soon completely straightened out and the blade then binds on the wood. The blade, soft as it is, then bends along its length. Also the cut through wood formed a curve rather than a straight line. The retractable knife blade (half of it, then the other half when I'd turned it around) was rendered entirely blunt after I cut upholstery up to a staple. It wouldn't even penetrate the upholstery after that.
It was bought for me as a gift, for which I'm grateful for the bag.

These tools are absolutely terrible. I tried two today the quality is so poor that in my opinion they are too dangerous to be on sale at any price.

I could not disagree more. I've tried out a couple of the screwdrivers, they are fine (about the same quality as (say) Stanley), not the best but perfectly adequate for jobs around the house, garden or garage. The spirit level is: a spirit level, it does what it says, as does the hammer (actually it is a nice heavy one), 5M tape, set square, craft knife, set square (with a spirit bubble, nice touch) and bradawl. The wood saw looks a bit cheap, but then it is :-). I really like the one handed clamp, it seems pretty well made and is really useful. That just leaves the screwdrivers (see above) and the safety glasses - perhaps you think they are dangerous? :-)
So, we disagree. I think your comment is misleading, there is certainly nothing dangerous about these tools, indeed they are all rather better than the sort of things the bargain shops sell for £1-£5 each. In my opinion they are perfectly good around the home, I would not use them in my workshop (well I might), but there again I have a lot of more expensive tools there anyway.

I bought the screwfix one about a year ago. Sheared 2 of the Philips screwdrivers within about a month. Never sheared a screwdriver in my life before this so don't think I'm particularly heavy handed (or the old screw drivers I purchased 20 years ago were just far superior and unfortunately now mostly misplaced).
Can anybody recommend a good screwdriver brand? Don't mind paying a bit more for them if they last another 20 years.
Thanks.
