My wife mocked me when I bought these, saying I was tight. But having those spare cards in a drawer for emergencies came in really handy.

..These aren't on all year round, they come out during the end of a season or just before if the seasonal rack is empty. Usually after mothers day is when these and the 5 for £1 ones come out too. I use to work for them for 6 years so i know how it works. Some larger stores might have this all the time but by the way the company works these are the first thing to go to make way for main card lines, so not always available. Stock sells out fast at the warehouse too so it can be hard for stores to keep stock levels decent, so you do have to grab them whilst you can. The best ones to get are the blank ones with no writing on the front as they make great cards to send for any occasion :smiley:

this should be the going rate for cards. i hate having to shell out for cards. i am sure the reciever would like the £2 i spend on the card to be added to their gift

luckily i think card giving will die out with my mums generation
