Sainsbury's and ASDA have done this a few times but Tesco have never lowered the price of Tropicana this much in all the 12 years I have been shopping there. Finally this offer will be available to a wide range of people as Tesco have the most stores out of them all.
The 1.5 Litres are also on this £2 offer - Tropical and Mango.

I've tried actual real life oranges too so I know how sharp they can be, I find cheaper orange juices very sharp. Sounds like all orange juice manufacturers use "juice packs" and Tropicana still tastes the best imo. Freshly squeezed orange juice is still a good thing to have in your diet, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Sure there are better ways... I could grow my own tomatoes, harvest and puree them every morning as an accompaniment to the children's Quinoa flakes, but I'm a bit busy.

Orange juice is naturally sharp.
If you want to know why Tropicana tastes different, I suggest you read the following -
Morrison own brand fresh orange juice 2L (without/without bits) is £1.97 which much better value.

Morrisons have the Princes juices two x 1 litre for a quid until the 17th of April.
If anyone is brewing the stuff I put in 4 litres of the apple and raspberry but didn't have any sugar in but started it anyway and it brewed out dry in 2 days. 1044 starting gravity so was 6% before I knew what was happening. I've got more, it's nice stuff. The apple and pear is a bit nothingy.

Gotta love how these brands manipulate package sizes to make things look like a bargain. When did 1.75litres become a thing?

Apparently Dodgy Dave's favourite non-alcoholic drink - which is probably why it's exempt from the sugar tax

I can definitely tell the difference! Cheaper supermarket orange juices tend to be very sharp imo. I think sainsburys have these at the same price though they COULD have been the 1.5l cartons. Heat added.

I know it's Tropicana, but aldi sell their own fresh orange for £1.70 for the same size carton - I couldn't tell the difference between the 2.
