3 Months warranty sounds like they don't have much faith in the unit lasting long

Do not like the term 3 months manufacturer warranty.
Remember if you buy this, your contract is with Argos not the manufacturer. Six months is the time for any fault to be a presumed fault from manufacture, not the three months stated on the listing.

Hey thanks. Argos are usually quite good at exchanges and refunds so I bit and bought 2.

Lol you guys are going to think I'm crazy but I ended up cancelling my order from the range and taking the Argos ones. I was finding it hard to find the difference between the sport and the GT. The GT can take 70kg and sport 50kg. My kids are almost 10 & 11 so I went with the GT 70kg. They're nowhere near 70 but I thought it'll probably handle growing kids better.

Ps the range model says 8 and over at 50kg so I'm sure it's fine but like me I suggest paying the extra £10 and get GT. Plus you know Argos hardly argue when you have a faulty product.

I've just seen a load of these going in police auctions for a song. My guess is that since it would be illegal to use one either on a pavement or a road, the police confiscate them quite regularly - could be wrong they could just be stolen and unclaimed.
Personally, I'd love something like this for adults if only it was legal, I live a bit too far from work to walk, traffic is bad, I'm not willing to cycle (don't want to arrive too sweaty) so generally drive and wait in traffic - at 8mph this would be faster, cheaper and vaguely more healthy.
Perhaps laws will be changed.

You're right! I wasn't aware of this and apart from safety reasons that's why I forbade swegway. We have private road outside and large area out back so I'm going to keep mine but a bit disappointed.
