all jokes aside, i find pressups and related exercises (holding plank!) hard, and these just make it even harder! oh how i cry when I see them laid out by the trainer at the start of the session

Extra stretch on pecs as you drop lower, and some find them easier on wrists.

I deffo find them easier on my wrists, however I do use dumbbell weights as an alternative

I find push ups with my wrists flat soon get uncomfortable, these definitely help negate that

They extend the exercise by making you dip lower and take unnecessary strain off your wrists. For a couple if quid ...hardly like buying a treadmill to walk on

And not as effective as using push ups stands. These exist for a reason; they're really rather good and are fantastic at relieving stress on your wrists.

As others have commented above, I find there's more benefit to using these.
