Down from £40 and that's about the price on amazon, argos etc. Found in Mather Avenue/Allerton Tesco by Rose Lane this evening. There was one other set left on the shelf. I know this is store specific but it may help someone out.
Finally, before anyone jumps in, I know a 20kg dumbell set will only be suitable for a poorly kitten (a girl kitten at that) who's just starting out in the fitness world and that anyone who's serious about their exercise bench presses 2 egg cups of neutrino star matter every morning before getting out of bed.

Cracking deal if you can get one, but possibly a wild goose chase.
I'll stick to benching a small hatchback on each finger, cos you know, 20kg, pffft, I could do that when I was a spermatozoa....

I know but it may help someone; you never know.
I was going to get the other set and see if any hotukdealers out there wanted to collect it from me but I couldn't lift the 2 sets into the trolley!

Excellent news; thanks for the heads-up. Could be even more stores that have stock at this price, no just the stores we visited.

They've got the cast iron sets for 14.99 each or 2 for £26 in Lidl this week. Along with a whole load of other fitness equipment

Picked a set up from Huntingdon this evening. Marked up on SEL at £40!!! but scanned at £10. Always handy to have some extra bars and smaller plates floating around. The one I picked up looked like the last one on the shelf, more out back maybe? They also had a 5kg plate for £2.50 but left that on the shelf as they only had one
