I've already got a pair of the last model of these earphones and I must say the sound and build quality is amazing. I've been looking at these for a while and been wanting to get some but I've been waiting for them to come on offer as there usually £14.
These sound and look better than my mates £60 headphones!
I'd advise paying with PayPal so you are covered as gearbest is in China. It will also take 3-5 weeks for delivery but it's worth the wait!
I've heard bad things about gearbest but never really had a problem myself before.

They are not fakes I've bought stuff from gearbest before and it's always real. This is the price things are over there.. Only thing I wouldn't buy from them is sd cards

They're not fakes, I've bought and received these from GearBest and they're genuine, exactly the same as the ones as I got from banggood.

Anyone know what GearBest is like when it comes to these breaking/having any issues a couple of months down the line?

Don't think there very good at returns from what I've heard but pay with PayPal then you'll have a certain amount of protection. Everything I've bought from them before has been very good. These earphones are well build and should last a while if you look after them.

If you have the time to send scores of emails and answer pointless questions, they'll normally sorry things out. They've been pretty hopeless with three out of four recent orders. Took forever to resolve but got there in the end!
Damn you hukd! Another set of earphones winging their way towards me. On the plus side ive just entered a 'received on' date for the previous Gearbest orders I've had, and saved $2.73. Pity that gets lost in translation. Paypal'd £10.54 all in all.

Really impressed with the design and build quality of Xiaomi products lately. Chinese companies are often cited for cheaply made knock offs, Something Xiaomi definitely cant be accused of.

Gearbest are fine... bought an android box from them and it didn't turn on after a couple of weeks, $50 credit given to me with no fuss to buy another
the box then magically started to work again and hasn't skipped a beat since!
admittedly, I would probably make sure I'd only buy from the EU warehouse in the future, as it does take stuff weeks from China, but if you're not in a hurry it's no biggie

Any complaints seem churlish given the price, but my word does the cable get tangled on these. Not sure why some headphones are worse than others but these ones are terrible for it.
I have these headphones to replace my worn-out Sennheiser CX300's and the Xiamoi ones sound so much better and are cheaper, very happy with this purchase. Maybe not up to proper audiophile standards (have Grado cans for home use but doubt I can find anything better than these afforbale Xiaomi's for commuting currently, been using'em daily since mid-Dec and no wear and tear yet)
Sound leakage doesn't seem to affect me (I don't listen at high volumes, maybe that's why?)

I bought some of these last time they were flagged on hukd. They took a really long time to arrive. Maybe 6-8 weeks? If you want to see them anytime soon, I'd pay for expedited shipping. I wasn't too fussed about when they arrived, was just curious about them and thought they'd be a good back up pair potentially so the long wait didn't bother me, I did begin to wonder if I'd ever see them though.
I think they leak noise quite badly too (in comparison to sennheiser's for example), so personally I wouldn't use them at work or on a bus etc, so they've been relegated to home use.

Best earphones I have ever used are the JVC Xtreme Xplosives, are these better?

Yes, I think they are. They're the best IEMs under £50 that I've tried.

25 Feb 16#30
Seconded, except I'd up that to £80 as they're at least equal or better soundwise than my RHA MA750i's, also these work with the Nexus 6P where as my Xiaomi Piston 2's do not.

AAre they have a lot of Bass?
Sephian

They have a fair amount of bass yes, possibly not as much as the JVC's, The JVC bass is a lot muddier though. I'd say the bass sounds considerably better on these.

Update. Received the earphones today only took just over a week to arrive from China & ive got to say there the best earphones I've ever bought! Crystal clear sound quality with good bass. Pretty loud too. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot. These are as good as £100 earphones in my opinion!
