Been looking for a chromecast, and this deal is back works out cheaper than buying the device on its own and you get a film rental from it. Love these wuaki deals.

I have both and as above, since getting the Fire TV Stick I haven't touched the chromecast again. in fact I got a 2nd Fire TV Stick for another room. Got them for £25 each on offer a while back at amazon. chromecast I got for £19.99 via wuaki and £ for £ there is no comparison, the fire tv wins hands down imho. you can stream to it just like a chromecast, it has a remote, and all the android apps on top (including Kodi  )

I've got both and I haven't used the Chromecast once since getting the Fire Stick last November. I got the Chromecast early last year when it was £30 with a £15 Google Play credit, so I thought it was worth a punt. But after realising how much messing and how limited it is I gave up and got the Fire Stick during Black Friday week. (and haven't regretted it for a second since).
Whether it's for you or not depends on what you want to use it for. I personally find the Fire Stick to be more straight forward and plays everything I want it to.

I think this is the norm, delivery of chromecast is generally not very speedy either e.g. 2 weeks

Try this
click the get deal link from this hotukdeal post. it should take you to something like: https://landing.wuaki.tv/uk/the-equalizer-2299-SEM?wktv_code=2133&tduid=e5e586ad195f6e826c418499aeed181c
Copy the bold part in your address bar i.e up to ...SEM? or whatever yours come up with
Then go through top cashback link it will take you to the normal page with movies etc. Once the page loads up, paste the bold bit part you copied above into your address bar.
It worked for me and got it confirmed too!

But you need to go through TCB to get that £7 cashback for new user so...?
Just went on my chromecast to look at offers as it was previously showing 3 months free spotify but it isn't any more. Shows 3 months free google music but only available until 1/3/2016 so you're unlikely to get your chromecast by then. Worth checking offers when you get your chromecast, I got 2 months sky movie pass for nowtv free.

Purchased. Got the invoice via email but no mention of the Chromecast.
Probably a minor issue but would be nice to actually get an invoice that includes everything to prevent problems.

I absolutely adore my Chromecast. The film will be to keep, though possibly SD, and make sure you send an email a week or so after the order to make sure your Chromecast is on its way!

Thanks for posting OP - great timing as it was only yesterday I was looking for a Chromecast deal as one of ours (original version) got damaged when moving the TV bracket.
For those wondering, the receipt doesn't mention the Chromecast specially but they've always turned up after a couple of weeks (this will be our third from Wuaki). The receipt does say the movie is in SD, but the Android app shows the title in both SD & HD and the cover has a little HD logo banner in the corner. Think I recall reading something before that the quality depends on the device used to watch the film. Anyway, just started streaming it via Chromecast and there's no complaints from me.

Yeah. I'd be interested to know as well.
Got a ChromeCast last week. Kind of underwhelmed by it.
The optimised apps work well. But general screen casting is hit and miss, even from a Nexus 6p, and from my Windows tablet it's a total disaster. Got it to use on holiday but will probably stick with taking my Android tablet and an MHL cable as it seems more reliable.
Still need to try out a few more video casting apps I think ....

Received mine in the post today (no dispatch email, just one that confirmed the film purchase), although TCB has only tracked for 10p even though this was for a brand new account and purchase, not sure what to expect here. Might have to chase TCB to ensure correct activity is tracked for the £7.78 cashback.
