Only use this as a base coat on freshly plastered walls.
Let the plaster soak up the cheap stuff.
Then put a decent brand on to get a better finish.

some of wilko's paints are reduced to clear at £3.00 and Dulux gloss was at £2 ...this was in the Burnley store earlier on today. hope if helps somebody. :smiley:

Good find .. That's the Valentine's Day prezzie for the missus sorted.

Stick to proper trade paints & save the hassle or time. The clue is what tradesmen would use. It won't be this crap I tell you. Can't believe Wilko would sell this crap, not fit for purpose.

This stuff's like milk, so I'd gloss over the issue if I were you.

I used the white matt to attempt to cover a magnolia room, and 6 coats later I gave up and purchased some dulux trade supermatt, which did the job that the wilko stuff was supposed to do.
You won't see queues of painters and decorators at the wilko checkouts with tubs of this in their trolleys....

i used this once, well infact 3 times, thats how many coats it needed to cover, and nothing was that bad in our smoke free pet free home, buy a known make and use one coat, just my findings :disappointed:
