For the 1st time in HD, Mario Kart comes to the Wii U console, introducing new racing, circuit designs, and anti-gravity karts that will have players driving upside down. You will enjoy a variety of series-favourite features including the return of the 12-player online competitive play, hang-gliders, underwater racing and motorbikes.
The most anticipated game that will bring number of new features is here in Mario Kart 8. With improved graphics and support for the Wii U game pad, Mario Kart 8 will surely take kart-racing one step further.
Also, in 2-player mode, screens will now split down the middle vertically instead of the horizontal split that seen in previous titles.
Bundle includes Black Wii U Console, Black Wii U Gamepad 6.2, Black Wii U Gamepad Stylus, Wii U Gamepad AC Adaptor, Wii U AC Adaptor, Wii U AC Adaptor, HDMI cable, Wii U Gamepad Cradle, Wii U Gamepad Stand, Wii U Console Stand, Sensor Bar.

Awful deal. Second hand wii u for 179 when 2 years ago argos had the premium with 5 games everything brand new for the same price

Its an awful deal. Ebay and gumtree also have cheaper second hand wii u's. So there you go, just type wii u in ebay and there is your pointer. The argos website also has a brand new zelda edition for the same price, it one ups this albeit that is still a poor deal considering past prices. £179 for a second hand wii u with one game is not a good deal and there are cheaper alternatives

And why'd you want to borrow a time machine? To go back in time and erase this freezing deal?

Ey? Yeah, you could put that £30 saving towards Mario Kart and a 12 month warranty that's already included with this one.
Refurbished means it's been sent back to Nintendo Tech Service and repaired, probably from being DOA, meaning it's basically new. Who knows how many hours that 'actual' 2nd hand one has been ragged for.

Nintendo never released proper Battle Mode stages and only being able to hold one item isn't enough. :disappointed:

Surely they didn't remove the ability to have projectile items hang behind you when you keep hold of the button allowing you to collect another item?

It's not 2nd hand, it's a refurb and comes with a 12 month guarantee. It's well known on here that Wii U refurbs are basically as good as new.

So where can you get it cheaper?
Gumtree =no warranty
Zelda edition = Barely any stock
You're speaking rubbish to put it politely.

It's a good deal overall, yes it has been about the same price before for new but that's moot. Been meaning to get back to mk8, great game

OOS
You can get new with MK8 and Splatoon from amazon for £222.74 which seems a good deal

Out of stock now anyway, but I'd say this was a decent enough deal - my only hiccup would be wanting to see if it had any scratches.
Haven't shopped around as I have a Wii U, may even be a better buy elsewhere from the likes of Alza/Pixel if you don't mind a EU unit. This deal posted is probs better, if you don't mind a physical splatoon which is £20ish, your gonna save £20ish overall. A solely MK8 bundle might be more desirable to some too.
As nice as it is not to get red shelled 4 times consecutively I have to agree. The duel item aspect along with superior (but not perfect) and more enjoyable battle stages are why we still play MK7 in our house. It takes some doing that Nintendo have managed to evolve the battle mode by gradually making it worse with recent MK games. Keep it simple, MK64 style, problem solved?

This was a good deal. Refurbs end up on here with a similar price difference to new, so I don't understand why that would be a reason to vote cold. Still, not as bad as people voting cold on Xbox One deals just because they won the lottery in their local Tesco at ~£85
Don't forget Alza. Alza's offering 4 games with the Splatoon/MK8 (2 of which are these) bundle for £209.

You sound like the sort of person who loves to spend £1000 on a Justin Beaver ticket from a tout because its sold out and thats the cheapest price. Just because something is currently cheapest, doesn't mean its value for money. I hope you aren't the one who looks after finances in your house.

Oh wait... This is out if stock... Oh wait there are still brand new zelda consoles in the uk for the same price.. Oh wait you prefer paying the same for a used one and justify it because you believe a refurb isnt more than a hand held hoover swept around the screw holes for an extra £50 instead of ebay. You fail

Where are there Zelda consoles for that price?
How is a Zelda console for collection in Inverness any good to me when I live in london?

Im not all there because i gave a humorous reply to your rhetorical statement? Oh so when somebody rebuttals your idiocy you choose to use mental health issues as insults. You'll be using homophobic/ racist slurs next
2nd hand just like this, and can put the £30 saved to something else.
No need to thank me.

You're not all there because you don't seem to understand the website you're using.
You post deals and people vote on them. If it's a good deal it gets hot (Like this deal) if it's a bad deal it gets cold; You'll understand when you eventually post a deal.
Just because something was cheaper in the past doesn't make the current price bad, it just makes it more expensive than it was in the past.
Do you only ever buy things at their record lows?
Ever bought any Shares or precious metals?
What about your pension? I guess you probably refuse to put any money into that because you got more for your money a few years ago?
It was the cheapest some one could have bought it for at that time; I've got no idea why you're struggling to understand that. Take a look at the Wii U prices for consoles and games, there's barely been a drop and many games have either held their value or have actually gone up in price.....
