By using smaller pieces at the bottom. Looks really nice. Will try it in bathroom as hubby is just doing ours

If you look at the bottom near the foot of the bath, you can see that a tile has been cut the same size as the step at the top.

They have put smaller pieces at the bottom so the bath hides it.

You start on the top layer of tiles and can put them any where you want. Then just fill in the gaps at the bottom.

Wickes sale tiles are great quality and price. We have tiled a full ensuite in tiles that were £9.99m and bogof (effectively £5m)-this offer seems to be in store only though.

Deciding how high to run the tiles in a small toilet room before the border (then plaster/paint above from there) is Haaaaard....

It really depends on the height of your ceiling - usually up to half way, although personally I prefer a bit over.
