Not when they're moaning at those who make the effort to post something that is a genuine deal or good price.
The way I see the community is like this, you post deals and buy things through the affiliate links OR you don't post deals and sit and bitch! As far as your comment about not posting because other people probably have that's what the SEARCH function is for.
I have saved hundreds and possibly save people hundreds with the stuff i have posted over the past 5 years.

As a fellow member who has only posted one deal, I tend to find that other eagle-eyed members have already posted deals that I find on the high street or received email sale notifications. I also believe that there are at least two sides to membership; firstly, those who post deals which is greatly appreciated and secondly those members who are buyers and contribute financially by clicking through affiliate links. Of course, there are other types of members too who can provide valuable feedback on various products that can encourage or discourage a sale. Surely, the door should be open to all?

Considering I'lll probably never finish the tin, it's a decent price.

I think people are voting it up to troll, both because it's a crappy deal and the whole joke Valentine's gift thing as fun for the lady in your life. It's kind of amusing to have a cheap cucumber emailed to users as 'Todays Hottest Deals' (that's how I arrived here).

LOL
We were in the store late this evening just before closing time, although the box in the picture looks near bare, a member of staff had actually put a full box above the one I had took a picture of by the price label as they were stocking up. Sorry just thought it was a good deal as we usually pay 50p at the very least for one.

These cucumber posts really baffle me.
You get a cucumber for 26p, saving a few pence and it gets quite a bit of heat and on the flip-side some posts saving potentially £100+ go sub-zero.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 'Heat ****' and never post deals with a view to them going scorchio like some do and don't normally vote either way unless it's a stonking deal, but these cucumber posts leave me totally baffled and for this I vote cold.

Bought one from our local Morrisons for the same price. As it had no barcode had to search under the fruit and veg button and select whole cucumber. I was honest enough to check with the self service staff to see if it was a error but she confirmed it was correct!

:disappointed: I now live in Iceland [the country] and the cheapest cucumber you can buy is about £1. However, that is in the cheap supermarket. In all the others, a single cucumber is about £3.
