This is a really good cake as a treat for yourself. Great reviews. Takes a week for you to collect but well worth the wait. Says 4 portions.. but I complete this in 2 sittings :-).

Love cake, love a bargain, but how is a 215g sponge cake a deal at £5? Does sticking wedding in the description mean you can overcharge? Cold.

You miss the point (as well as the sarcasm), how is this one here wedding cake? It's just chocolate cake, although probably very nice with quality ingredients, no? Fruit cake, marzipan and icing are rarely consumed on other occasions, whereas chocolate cake is a regular occurrence for some!

Its not small for 1 or 2 people. Also, its moist and fluffy. really nice cake. They want you to buy the wedding cake from them and so they will use good ingredients and its a cake from M&S. This is a luxury treat. You can get a marble cake for £1.30 which is twice the size but this is for the days when you want to treat your stomach. :wink:

Neither do I. M&S is good but you can get a nice cake from a local food fair or decent deli for half the price. At best it's going rate, at worst it's a very expensive piece of cake. Either way it's cold.
