Don't think I've seen it this low for pc before. It has a lot of mixed reviews, but it seems worth a shot at this price for me at least. Limited stock apparently, so don't know how long it will last.
Nothing really wrong with it. Some people don't like double drm on Steam bought products that use Uplay. Some people just want Steam to have the drm monopoly, and for Ubi and EA to only release on the Steam platform. It is easier to just have all your games under one account rather than multiple. There are other reasons people can give.
It's cool to hate Uplay(Ubisoft) and Origin(EA), though I've only ever had as many issues as using Steam has given me.

I'd maybe buy Watch_Dogs from Uplay if it wasn't Watch_Dogs from Uplay. :stuck_out_tongue:
Heat added for the price.

It's not a brilliant game, but for that price it's well worth it

I was torn about posting this as I pretty much hate uplay as well, but considering even if i get it on steam, i'd still need to use uplay to play it, it's mostly the same as just getting it on uplay and adding it to steam as a non-steam game.

Can you still mod this even if it launches from uplay?

I had absolute A* service from EA support when my PC battlefield 4 wouldn't save

For the record, I've had absolutely no issues with using Uplay, Origin or Steam. My Origin account was hacked from Slovakia once and I had access back within minutes after getting on live chat.
The one time I've had to use Steam support it was abysmal

I had an issue with witcher 2 with a crash to desktop problem, steam support did everything they could to wash their hands of the issue despite it not being a problem with my PC, installed it from GoG, no issues whatsoever so it was blatantly a problem with steam and they couldent care less

Buggy as hell I ended up giving up on it

That was kind of my point. The issues that I've had are minor, and that goes for Uplay and Origin. There are so many bugs with Steam, but they are normally minor ones. A few times in my eight years it's gone down for a couple of hours or so, but that's so few and far between. Sometimes it simply kicks you into offline for a short time. Steam is buggy in so many small ways, but seems to get a free ride when compared to Uplay and Origin. Any technical problem Origin or Uplay have had you could find something comparable with Steam

Aren't the bugs ironed out for this game? It's been out for some time now, so the bugs in the game should be minimal by now...

It's because Steam is the largest drm platform (released September 12th 2003) and people simply don't like having more than one drm platform, they want all their games in one basket. As far as I know Uplay started around 2009 and had a client on 3rd July 2012 and Origin was released on June 3rd 2011. So Steam has been in the game far longer than the other two.
"Uplay's reception with reviewers and the public has been largely negative. John Walker, writing for Rock, Paper, Shotgun, called it a "technical mess" and saying that "it desperately needs to just go away" in the wake of a server collapse around the release of Far Cry 3 that temporarily made the game unplayable.[16] Ars Technica's Kyle Orland says that "Uplay has not exactly endeared itself to the PC gaming community", describing a history of technical errors and problems related to its DRM.[17] Geoffrey Tim, writing for lazygamer.net, called it the "worst thing" about Ubisoft's "otherwise excellent" games, and particularly criticized it for running alongside Steam when Ubisoft games are purchased on that platform.[18] Patrick Klepek, writing for Giant Bomb, criticized the same point, saying that Ubisoft's desire to run its own distribution service offered no real benefit to consumers, and describing the tactics they used to try and get people to use it as irritating and unappealing.[19] Writing a comparison for GadgetReview in which he compared the three major distribution platforms—Uplay, Valve's Steam and Electronic Arts' Origin—Shawn Sanders criticized it for using large amounts of memory while offering fewer features than its competitors.[20] Summarizing popular opinion on the service, VG247's Brenna Hillier said that "Uplay is one of the less popular PC DRM systems, but all your fervent wishing that it would die has not been successful."[21]
"UPlay can still die in a fire on Cancer World, though."

There's nothing wrong with the deals from G2A. I was just saying that we cant post G2A deal on HUKD. Thats all.

Sorry, that's what I meant! What's wrong with G2A from HUKD's point of view?
Tanweeralqarni
22 Feb 16#32
I think because, G2A sellers are not verified by HUKD. Plus there have been cases where someone purchases a key from G2A but it fails to register with Steam etc. HUKD rather not have deals that can cause problems. For example if you purchase from CDKeys, and there was an issue, it could be resolved. But if you purchased from G2A, it is likely it wont be resolved and you'll lose your money. Also apparently some users reported their games being removed from their library, because it was likely the seller stole the key or something like that.
