looks like a good deal, ignore the previous poster, there are way too many people on here who just like to slate deals.

I've just purchased this as was due my upgrade, was going to do it all in store, glad I checked now, as I've managed to save a bit, and also add the cost of the phone onto my next bill.

Shame about the shocking network but good deal if you never need to speak to their customer services.

If you want to maintain your sanity, keep away from Vodafone. You will, invariably, have to deal with their customer service, as they are unable to effectively set up direct debits. The majority of complaints are linked to this problem. Refrain from temptation, as the price could be reasonable, but I would loathe to see someone have the same misery as what I have suffered

Cant get employee discounts on already discounted products I'm afraid. Best you can hope for is a credit back for the difference if you can prove that you've been mis-informed but you should know the rules if you're an employee. And by the way it's 30% discount for Friends & Family employee lines.

Just had confirmation from the UK based sales team (as offshore chat were useless) that the Advantage discount can't be applied on top of this. Ordered 2 days ago and was gonna cancel, but will stick with what I've got now.

I was talking about the Vodafone Employee Advantage which is 20%. I currently get the 30% off as my brother in law works there on top of an already discounted plan but you are right, it isn't the norm and they did put up a mild fight but sound in the end.

Worst ever network. Don't go near them with a barge pole.. You will lose money in the long run.

I found the call quality on Vodafone to be better than the O2 network. I recently tried to change from Vodafone onto 02 and found the call quality more compressed and processed. I reverted back to Vodafone and with the addition of a sure signal box I believe I get the best call quality it is possible to get . I believe that makes a difference if you're talking to family for long periods. I thought sure signal was just some dodgy amplifier box but it roots your calls through your Wi-Fi so you get the best signal possible . Anyway before I got this I was getting better call quality on one or two bars of Vodafone than five bars of O2 network . Just something to consider that is never spoken about much . Your experiences may vary

I haven't bought from a carrier for a while. Do Vodafone install bloatware on these or do they leave it alone?

It'll have a few Vodafone apps installed, most of which you can uninstall.

Hot. A premium/flagship phone and 11gb of 4G data for under £30 a month is an excellent deal. Vodafone's customer service sucks balls when they have a hot promotion on and they can't cope but you also have to hand it to them, no other network throws out such great deals so regularly like Voda do.

Does anyone know if the code Z5PROMO is still working? I've tried using it but does not take anything off the pay monthly plan.
