TBH, as long as its been patched for Stagefright, I'd be happier with Kitkat. (The XP of Android.)

Cripped bootloader, fastboot doesnt work - its possible to root it but thats about it according to a quick google . *IF* it comes back into stock its also eligable for NUS discount as well.

No stagefright fix, no Lollipop upgrade, and no modding community either. It's also close to impossible to unlock it (even Vodafone struggle to provide unlock codes for this model).
It's not a terrible phone for the price though.

Pretty much makes it a backup device or wifi device then. Wouldn't dream of doing anything like banking on it. Still, for the money.......
Yes, I heard this protects against getting it through MMS. Others were saying later that it could also be exploited through a web browser. Hope they are wrong.

bought this phone for my son 18 months ago...great little phone...but struggled to change contracts as couldn't get it unlocked.

Waste of money I bought this phone as I lost my iPhone and was waiting for the insurance company to sort my claim out, added extra memory to this phone and it wouldn't transfer apps to the memory card was constantly saying memory full more headache than it was worth
