Whether you're Jamie Oliver or you've just acquired your first kitchen, the cooking process can be a massive hassle. Pots here. Pans there. Worktops strewn with every kind of implement you can think of. Imagine if there was a way to cut down the stress of cooking by cutting away all the unnecessary tools and tech. Well, imagine no more. Introducing the Vida Multi-Cooker!
Ideal for those with smaller kitchens and those looking to cut down on kitchen clutter, the Vida Multi-Cooker is a single unit solution to a whole host of cooking tasks. Food can be cooked directly in the non-stick pot, which has an impressive five-litre capacity, suitable for a range of dishes, including large family-sized meals.
The glass lid allows you to peer in and check on your culinary wonders as they fry, boil or steam away via one of the Multi-Cooker's eight settings. The other cooking modes include slow cook, hot pot, stir-fry, deep fry and grill. The adjustable knob can also be used to set the cooker to any temperature you wish.
The cooking mode you choose will determine which of the included accessories you'll need to use. Frying, for example, will involve the fry basket and there's a wire rack if you fancy a bit of grilling or steaming. Also included are a set of fondue forks, for anyone fond of retro cheesy get-togethers, and an onion cutting aid to help ensure the only tears are from sulfenic acid.
When your masterpiece is complete, cleaning up is a doddle. The cook pot pops out of the base unit for easy cleaning with a soft cloth and hot soapy water.
Key Features
• Eight cooking modes for every kind of meal
• Variable temperature control
• Range of accessories, including fry basket, grill rack and fondue forks
• Transparent glass lid
• Non-stick and easy-clean pot
• Generous five-litre capacity

Why create more threads when a deal is already posted? I know people may have missed the original deal but having multiple thread of the same deal is not practical. That's why we have a search box. Especially when the original deal is still not expired. Also the original thread answers questions that people may have instead of asking same questions agian on multiple threads. Also I posted this comment when the deal just came live to indicate to people that the deal has already been posted why create 2. You replied to my comment a week after I posted it. if you read it later of course my comment wouldn't make sense but at the time of posting it did.
Reposts after a more than a month are normally classed as ok.

By the rack, do you mean the frying rack, not the steam rack? I will try it, thanks a lot.

How do you use it as a grill? do you use the supplied metal steam rack? Or do you put something else on the bottom of the pot? I can't figure it out. I put fish fingers on the steam rack and they are soggy. The instructions for grill say to use a low rack (no such thing included).

The manual states grill, but I think it's more like an oven... The low rack means have the rack in it's lowest position, to get it high turn it over.
I have used the rack to do sausages with no problem and if you put foil on the rack I was able to do oven chips.
I did manage to do fish goujons on the rack which were OK... They are the closest thing to fish fingers I have done

Am I right in thinking that this is not an oven? So would be no good for oven chips, fish fingers etc.

I have one of these and it does work quite well as an oven... the supposed "grill" setting is more like an oven than a grill.
You need to use the metal rack though, but fish fingers / sausages cook fine on it and for oven chips I put foil on the rack to stop the chips falling through.
imo it is a pretty good piece of kit for £20.
