250g of 100% pure Canadian maple syrup on rollback at Asda. don't confuse this with the maple syrup sauces which are often cheaper but mixed with other ingrediants! A bottle this size usually costs around the £4/£5 mark at other places so a good saving to be had.
Hope this helps!

100% Pure. In America, first you get the syrup, then you get the power, then you get the women.

Because it's tapped from trees out in the wilds of Canada, then filtered and boiled down until just right, not some kak made by adding flavourings to processed sugar syrup in a factory in the East End of London!

Got this today.plenty on the shelves at the small west Swindon Asda. Small compared to the massive hypermarket style 24hr one in north Swindon.

We get Costcos but this is a really good price for what is a delicious syrup. We had some in rice pudding the other day. Oh Lord!

Suspect its a blend rather than graded

Possibly true, but good enough for pancakes and it is 100% pure maple syrup, not the Clarke's stuff with carob syrup added in.

AFAIK if its Canadian it has to be "graded" based on the colour.

Good stuff, I hate that some of the other stuff is marked as maple syrup when it is in fact carob syrup with a hint of maple.

I just read the name on the label on the bottle in the photo, not Asda's interpretation of this.

I think the brand is "Vertmont", and is normally £2.98 at Asda. Buckwud is normally £6 for this size bottle elsewhere.

Funny that Asda can't actually spell it!

Drizzle a bit of this onto your cooked bacon stick it in a bap and you're in heaven. Think this is cheaper than Aldi's maple syrup so a very good deal.

Googling this and found it on here four years ago at Asda, £2.50 reached 461 degrees!
