Picked these up in my local store Pontypool this afternoon. Thought £2.25 for 9 was a good deal.

A question for you bog roll connoisseurs - which is better this Velvet or Cushelle? Makro's current offer is £10.99 (ex. VAT) for a 24 roll pack BOGOF. If you do the maths it works out at 27.5p a roll vs the Velvet at 25p a roll.

People buy Velvet because it's a well known brand and all tissues have layers thickness and softness it is all in the mind so I would say this is not worth it why because you don't need to waste tissue just use WATER it's free and effective and its cleans better and wash your hands with soap after ok thanks

Super price. Less than the £5-6 for 16 offer you usually get.
I may be a convert to Saxon rolls tho' from Aldi. Was on offer I couldn't refuse, since then been doing a stern job :laughing:

Usually on deal at around £3 so this is a good price for Velvet. Still works out more expensive than the 18 packs of Nicky Elite you can get in Home Bargains, or Aldis 18 pack for a little under £4. I suppose it depends on whether "velvety softness" is worth the extra.:smile:
