I purchased a beef wellington from the Morrison's "Signature" range a few weeks ago and it was excellent
The fillet beef was tender, lean and tasty and my only complaint was that I could have eaten a larger portion
You may just have been unlucky

It has to be!
Wiki: Beef Wellington is a preparation of fillet steak coated with pâté (often pâté de foie gras) and duxelles, which is then wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Some recipes include wrapping the coated meat in a crêpe to retain the moisture and prevent it from making the pastry soggy.

I don't get it, ONE starter, ONE main and ONE dessert, are they big enough for two?

The Morrison's "Signature" Beef Wellington is 438g @ £7 standard price
This is more of a "quality" rather that "quantity" Morrison's selected Meal Deal for Valentines Day - although the fillet steak in the Beef Wellington is very filling

Don't be a cheap skate, its the one you love, spend a bit more and actually take her to Morrison's café while you wait for home bargains to deliver your flowers. Good Luck.

If you really love someone you could cook for them. Cooking is quite easy to do if you can be bothered to read all the words of the recipe.
