Reviews clearly says that Rainsport 3 have excellent grip with probably highest ratings in wet conditions... depends what you are after. Dunlop is a good tyre but would never buy Goodyear - lots of bad stories...

There will always be differences of opinion, I can't vouch for them but the reviews on all of them are good in one way or another and some might prefer one over the other, not sure its so easy to state it has better grip.

... but Rainsport 3 have better grip and is cheaper
A set of 4 of these delivered is currently £165.56 from Camskill.
+ £30 to avoid hassle with delivery and fitting? Not a bad price as long at you trust them to do the fitting.

Like others have said at my visit to f1 autocentres they offered to check wheel alignment for free. But of course found problems - then the charge to correct the alignment "fault" for 4 wheels totally wiped out the savings for the tyre itself.

If your tyres are evenly worn - there is no wheel alignment needed... and you don't have to be an expert to check tyre's condition. All "free" checks offered are poor attempt of earning extra money... same with half price or less for mot in most cases

brilliant find OP just no F1 centres in NI... spent bigger money on crap tyres a few weeks back.
great tyres, which premium/sport tyre doesn't wear quick, rate these better than f1 asy int the wet. for those wanting 225/40/18xl they are £54ish on camskill. That's a mid/high end tyre for lower budget range prices.

Now £47.90 with discount? Still a very good price.
Seems to be lots of deals posted lately for F1 Autocentres. They're obviously doing well out of Hot UK Deals
Edit: they show as £49.90 on the main page and if you add to the basket they're £49.90. But if you click on the full product page they're £48.95 and add to the basket at that price. Very odd.

Read the reviews on tyrereviews - awful tyres. The rainsport2 was awesome. The 3's are nasty.

I did read the reviews, I still cannot square your awesome vs awful comment with the difference in headline scores between the two tyres. A few months ago I fitted Rainexpert 3's on three of the family cars and I'm very glad I did. I have previously had the earlier two versions on lease vehicles I used.

There is no other tyre which scores higher on grip - specially in wet conditions ...from reading reviews

terrific grip, but don't expect them to last more than 10k miles. I only do 5k miles a year and have these on all three of my cars . cracking price.

Lol
These are some of the best tyres you can get so not sure where the bad reviews are from as majority online are great!
I've ran them on many high powered cars both on the road and on track and they've out done big named tyres so would certainly recommend them and they're more than adequate for a 'normal' road car
Went to f1autocentre for a £20 mot, they told me uneven wear on rear tyres, twisted my arm for a free wheel alignment check, print out says everything is wonky. I say oh well nevermind, at least mot passed, so go off to my proper garage who point out both rears 5mm evenly across the width nothing wierd, then they point out that when checking my suspension geometry f1 have not entered the correct model of car into the computer so of course the measurements are different.
A decade or two ago I rated f1autocentres highly, now thinking kwikfit in disguise??

All big chain garages are good for cheap tyres if already on offer but nothing else... fit them and walk away.

Great tyres for grip and confidence. They just don't let go! I wore my last pair down on the rears to borderline legal limit and they still gripped like hell.
But with a soft compound, they don't last long. My set on the rears (mazda MX5) lasted about 9k miles and they're gone.
Went for some hankook ventus evos this time round!
These are fantastic tyres. I run them on my 275hp TVR so they are more than satisfactory for 'normal' cars. Heat.

I have P7s on my Golf, absolutely the worst tyres I've ever had on any car I've ever owned in nearly 30 years of driving. No grip in the wet, will wheelspin and kick in the ESP. Truly dreadful tyres. I wish I was exaggerating as I wasted money on them.

Great price. I got robbed £60 a corner for nankangs. Worst tyre ever only 5k miles in and wearing on the outer edges that much im wondering if pass mot. Grip is crap. I got 32k out of bridgstones for same price! Harder and noisier tyre but would buy again. Best tyres ive had are goodyear nct 5 there in sales f1 at 66.70 bargain
