I can't wait to buy one of these, use it once, and then leave it at the back of my cupboard for the next twenty years.
Got one of these from argos a few weeks ago (think it was on offer for around the same price).
Absolutely love it! Well worth £30.

Why bother? Just leave it to the hukd members that will use it everyday ;-)

No but it has the ability to cause people to ask dumb questions.

FYI it is only a 2 slice size machine, as in 2 slices side by side. I dunno why it says 4 (maybe 2+2?)

Tempted, I want something to do panninis in. Or is there a more suitable option for that?

I have this already, in the smaller 2 size version, its brilliant - would really recommend. We make panninis in it all the time, they always come out great! Heat added OP xx

It doesn't crush them or something? Saw a handful of negative reviews and was wondering what the problem was..

Had one for years, the only brevile thing I've ever bought that hasn't broke after just over a year(2 kettles,1, toaster) although I have e to admit I prefer the toasties I get from my tesco basics toastie maker, u know.... The ones that crimp all the edges of the toastie and cost about a fiver, cant beat them!

I don't find it does at all - it's quite a heavy duty machine, so there is a bit of weight in the lid, perhaps more so in this version, as mines only the 2 size version? Always think panninis come out great to be honest! Remember you can return it to Amazon if not happy with the results

I have an older version of this. Been going for about 20 years now. Plates still like new. No problems with it.
