I actually used this on an old puntos bumpers that had faded grey , it looked the part for a few weeks until it started to fade . Then I found peanut butter !!! Smear it all over your plastic trim then work it in .

For those that are interested in something similar that lasts then try Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection. After a couple of applications built up, it lasts weeks and weeks even if you get the car dirty and wash it then the effect clearly remains. A bottle would easily do hundreds of tyres. So despite the price, it's good value.
