The paid version served that same purpose without the added annoyance of ads, because I was able to refund it. Whatever the version, it's a terrible app.

Roulette machine for extra lives/perks with a countdown hints suspiciously at 'pay to continue' down the line.
Very first question in very first quiz is in Spanish despite me setting locality as UK.
I'm sorry I thought this was a quiz app? My mistake.
Uninstalled and refunded. Waste your money elsewhere.

I bought it this morning had a few goes on it over the day
Gave made up email, no verification for it.
turned off notifications in settings which id do for almost all new apps
you earn roulette goes by getting questions right, although quite a few.
The lives are generated every hour but theres 25 rounds to each versus quiz so you are more waiting for another player to take their go as opposed to getting a new life.
The locality is set at the start for the players you go against but for some reason when you start a new game the language default is set to Spanish, then again it is the first step for creating a new game so some might miss it.
My problem with it is that almost all of the entertainment questions i get are about disney princesses all created by the the same two users and ive not a clue

History and Geography trivia questions are very USA-biased as you might expect and there are lots of misspellings and dodgy grammar but a good deal for the ad-free version.
