Just cancelled my account with Three but I will miss using the data when I go to Spain but I have found that if you go into a Vodafone shop in Spain you can buy a prepaid sim-card specially for tourists which has 60 mins international or just national calls which is good for calling friends that live in Spain or taxis etc. as these calls are not included in any UK bundles but the best thing is they have a deal on at the moment where they are doubling the data allowance from 1.5GB to 3GB, Three data was poor for me in Spain with no tethering but this is 4G+ SPEEDS UP TO 300 mbps I'm not sure if you can tether but I don't see why not and to be quite honest for only 15 euros even if I was still with Three I would get 1 of these sim-cards next time I go just for the faster speed.

not seen a sim card specially for tourists, but vodafone Greece has a programme for local that could work out even cheaper. its called vodafone cu.
They hand out the sim cards outside most vodafone stores where I am.
Register your card online and opt for internet bounes freebie. You then get 750 mb free when you topup €10 online and then you can purchase various bundles according to your need.
ie 60 min to uk for €5. 1GB recurring for €5. 300 min local + 200 min vodafone for €5 etc
you can check it out on vodafonecu.gr. can set the language to English.

nice but will only suite a selected bunch of people.
For me "Threes feel at home" is excellent and ive personally never had a problem in both the USA and europe but i cant speak for everyone.

Really depends on the countries you visit. I was on Three and moved to Vodafone with a company discount programme but I was travelling to Germany fairly regularly for work. Three was £5 a day for just data usage, Vodafone was £3 a day to use your data, minutes and texts.
best to use a three mobile pay as you go sim with an add on. worked great for me.

although good price for the amount of data and minutes. although will cost people to ring you from uk as I'm assuming this sim will have a Spanish number, but could just always stick to WhatsApp calls

£3 per day is better staying in Portugal at the moment pretty much everywhere has free wifi also so not even used the £3 option.
for calls just use Whatsapp or Skype or Hangouts

Just get a free 3 UK pay as you go sim and buy a £20 add on with unlimited data and 300 minutes & 3000 texts.

Nope I'm currently on three on the one plan (£15 PM) luckily my bills hasnt gone up yet but i know it will soon. My partner is currently with Vodafone UK, and we leave the the Canneries in 14 days, so This would be Ideal if I can pick up a Tourist Sim in Tenerefe as Three you need to be on the Network for 30 days prior to going away to use feel at home.
