A decent 2TB portable drive is very hard to find at this price.
Note that portable means this is powered via USB only so no need for power supply to plug it into mains.
grumpycamel:
Also 4% Quidco is available.
Went out of stock for home delivery :(,
If you are lucky and your local Maplin has some you can still buy in store.

Are you sure you didn't get a Canvio (or Stor.E) Basics one?
It is simply that I haven't even seen this specific drive before stumbling upon this and it is supposed to be a more "premium" drive, so slightly faster etc... (good comparison would probably be wd elements vs my passport). Also Pricespy claims this is the lowest price with the exception of a relatively random visualtek (whoever they are) price of 22£ which is a misprice (they say it is 22£+18£VAT...) and out of stock.

Added quidco to the description, thanks.
I went for a Toshiba Alu 2TB one a couple of weeks ago when Amazon was doing the bigthanks thing, I paid about 49£ using bigthanks and student discount so thought this was a good deal, it feels like I wasted that code now (this site does that to you very much...).

Does anyone know if the drive inside is small enough / compatible with ps4 as a replacement?

FYI: it won't fit inside a ps4. Ok for Xbox one though.

I believe the problem is thickness, this might be a 15mm drive and ai believe Ps4 only takes 11mm (might be wrong with exact figures but this is the point I believe.)

It's worth checking your local Sainsburys as I just bought a 2.5in 2TB Seagate USB3 drive for £30...

yes your write about the thickness of the harddrives but on some you can file down the edge of the metal casing and it will fit. i have done it on mine and me mates.

Expired ages ago, I hit the expire button ages ago but I think several people need to do that for the deal to actually get expired.
