Online Price is £469 but Staples are running this promotional offer of 25% off on Toshiba Laptop and Tablets for this weekend. Seems like a good price but any comments welcome:

To everyone recommending using Dell outlet, I'd advise against it. I received my Dell FHD i5 6200 (scratch & dent - with barely a discernible mark on it) only to find it crashing every 5 minutes and a keyboard that didn't fit the frame properly. I have since waited 3 weeks for it to be collected, with 2 collections not turning up thus far due to some apparent technical issue on Dell's behalf. Having complained and being promised that a supervisor would contact me regarding 2 wasted days, I'm still waiting for their contact a week later. I won't be purchasing from Dell again. The current crop of laptops in general, having researched and tested many in stores, including sending back a Lenovo, a Toshiba and now a Dell, in my humble opinion is of poor quality. And windows 10 is just too buggy. When I finally settle on a new one, I reckon it's going to be an older model with Windows 7.
If you have seen other Z50/51 FHD threads here, you would know Z50 FHD at £380 is not a good deal.
And it is a refurbished, not even brand new at this price.
The FHD is bad FHD TN panel, do not consider the FHD is a plus or it is worth a lot extra. I would not call it a good deal even brand new at £380. There were people who had returned Z50 FHD because of its screen.
I am not saying this Toshiba is better. Do not take me wrong.
Z50 with FHD, i3, SSD from amazon was £250 last year. It suffers issues with overall quality and screen. Anyone interested because of its FHD and price, should really go and see it in person before make your decision if it is good enough for you.

Went to Staples Wimbledon but only at most Intel i3s in stock and they had sharp edges to their case near keyboard edge. Decided not to go for one.

I think it's worth popping out to your nearest Staples to take a look at the Toshiba offer, perhaps, which I did yesterday afternoon (I think it's ending soon, so check), but I felt that the Toshiba models on display felt a little flimsy in construction, quite a lot of flex in the body and screens compared to some of the other models on display (the i7 model was a bit sturdier that the others I tried). I think if you were using them as desktop replacements, it wouldn't matter. If back packing every day, I would look for something sturdier (or perhaps a rigid/padded sleeve case to put it in). I found that Toshiba are doing better in reliability tables than they were.

This doesn't make sense. Surely Trading Standards can get involved in a situation like that. Either a game will run on certain hardware, or it may be jerky or not at all.
Dell cannot refuse a repair simply because you have been running a program that happens to be a game. It's a computer, you run whatever you like on it. It should be fit for purpose.

WoW, that is very bad of them. In my opinion, if it is within warranty period, they should just repair it by replacing the CPU as GPU is built in in today's Intel CPU. It is not like you dropped it by accident which is not covered by normal warranty.

I would go for Dell instead from outlet. £380 for laptop with FHD screen and graphics card.

Yeah and when the GPU breaks after using it for gaming, they'll claim that it's not meant for gaming and decline to repair it.

You probably can get the specs for that price from Dell Outlet.
One point to point out is that laptops from Dell Outlet are refurbished, not brand new. They are most likely to arrive in very good conditions though.
I just checked as at right this minutes, there are three Inspiron 15-5559, i5-6200u, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 2GB R5 M335, 15.6 inch FHD is £355+VAT, which comes to £426. The price fluctuate a lot.
If you wait for the right time, or have student discount, or other discount code, or chat with a representative, you may well get it for £380.
I am not saying that I am recommending the laptop as I do not know if the FHD screen is good or not, or weather it is worth the price difference. It is just a merely price check.
I bought my wife a 17 inch Dell Inspiron from Dell Outlet 3 years ago. The quality is ok for a consumer laptop. I have put in a 240GB Samsung 840 Evo in 2 years ago. Her Inspiron never give her any problems for 3 years now. I have no complaint at all and I will not hesitate to buy from them again if needed.

Go for a Probook with i5-5200u at £330, business laptop, much better quality and better components used. Probook 450 has a M.2 slot, you can add a additional M.2 SSD, keep both SSD and HDD at the same time for both performance and storage.
This one is 6th gen i5, 4GB more RAM, bigger hard drive (Probook use WD Black which is a better and more expensive hard drive), but this laptop is a consumer laptop for higher price.
Compare the two, I would go for Probook 450 any day especially given that this Toshiba does not have good reviews. Whereas, people who have used Probook can vouch for you that Probook are good quality business laptops. Count me as one.

3.7 out of 5 on Amazon. Undecided!
The title says one and second paragraph down says another one.
Different models and processors.
