I understand the difference between real and fake 3D and this movie has the best conversion I have seen. The 3D is fantastic but subtle. It really does give you that immersive feeling (excuse the pun).

as it wasn't filmed in 3D, it's a good job this version of the Blu-ray came out. Not only do I get to view it in 3D should I chose to, but also the 2D version as originally intended.

I've made over 14,000 comments on this site, I know what it's about. It's a community where you discuss deals, there are no rules apart from the obvious. There is no rule regarding your opinion.

"Also consider what the restrained 3D used with intelligence I concede.."
I've made comments about the 3D not being real 3D but a fake effect added post production, therefore it's fake. I don't care about clueless people's comments regarding the 3D, they're not witnessing a proper 3D reproduction just a vapid illusion of 3D.
Also consider what the restrained 3D used with intelligence I concede really adds to this film over the 2D version, absolutely nothing. It's a cash in on the 3D hype that is withering away day by day.

Wasn't filmed in 3D therefore it's fake 3D therefore it's completely pointless.
If anyone still cares about watching 3D, here's an excellent site detailing which films are real 3D and which are fake 3D >
This is a site about deals. Not whether something was filmed in 3D or not. If you don't want it don't buy it. There are people out there who will want it and will appreciate the deal. Often makes me laugh comments like this.
