Hope you see this! Should be running for a few weeks tho...
Woohoo... Went to Morrisons on Saturday, they didn't have the Ben & Jerrys, was very sad... Then caught a post today saying the Oreos were down to 50p in Morrisons, so went to get that, then checked for the Ben & Jerrys (which was there) then caught their offer of Haagen Dazs, pizza and chips for £3. Brilliant shop!

What's the pizza and chips offer?

Any of you guys tried Receipt Hog app? Is it any good?
Toonah to Youngy
22 Feb 16#85
I've got it, and am using it.. But no idea if it's any good. Not really seeing the benefit. Hoping it will show its face soon, think I started in early January. Will continue but it's not looking likely yet..

19 Feb 16#82
Yes the option to cancel an upload may be something Shopitize could consider. I'm sure once they've read your report they will sort out this issue. You will just need to email them with your other receipt for that product claimed. As your new to using these apps definitely persevere as it does get easier ...

19 Feb 161#81
Thanks for the swift reply KiKai. Okay, so it turned out that I hadn't claimed it was the wrong store, but I had claimed for one item that wasn't on the receipt (it was on another receipt from another store). I explained as much in the report. It'd be good to have the option to cancel a claim.
Only recently did I start using Shopitize and Clicksnap. Though I initially preferred Shopitize, Clicksnap feels less effort. I'm sceptical whether either are worth it (to me, personally) the time and effort. I think I'll persevere for now; perhaps I'll get more efficient at using them.

Is there any way to cancel a claim and resubmit? I've cocked up by trying to claiming for the wrong store.
KiKai to a_david
19 Feb 16#80
Has your receipt gone straight to under review? Once the receipt has been submitted it cannot be cancelled. But do not worry if you have accidently selected the wrong store as they'll be able to see that when it's checked...

I'm have a nightmare with this app at the minute.
Only one of my last five receipts have gone through without a review!
Used two different phones, but the app seems like it's having issues!
KiKai to backinstock
19 Feb 161#78
That seems to be happening more often because of the new system they have now where they are checking your receipt for the correct purchases and uploading of potential duplicate receipts at the same time...

I'll most likely be buying the B&J as part of the ASDA offer - pizza, wedges and B&J for a fiver. Naughty but nice
theres a glitch on this for asda's APG. its giving you £2.40 back per offer. then £1back for b&j. so about £1 odd for pizza wedges and b&j's!
DizzyDan1980
18 Feb 16#74
Nice one!! I hadn't seen that offer and there was nothing in Asda to say about it but it all scanned at £5, so £4 after uploading my receipt and getting the £1 back.

Shopitize then add the code to the apps barcode database so everyone can get the product .
I've noticed in the past Morrissons barcodes on their own products do throw up this problem occasionally.
Has anyone had any luck with the Orangina offer ? I went to my local Morrisons today and they don't stock it.I rang Morrisons head office and they said whilst it is available none of the 6 Morrisons within a 30 mile radius of where I live stock it and they have this strange "notepad" ordering system.
They can only order in a store if it allocated to them on their "notepad".
Seems crazy to me but thats how they operate.

17 Feb 161#28
Once you have accumulated £4+ of rewards with Shopitize you can ask them to transfer it to you - eg by BACS to your bank a/c is the best option. They make the transfers once a week, on Thursdays from memory. (Have always been 100% reliable in the past.)
See my post above for other ideas about Shopitize and other such Apps/sites/offers.
