The Order: 1886 re-writes history by introducing a unique vision of Victorian-Era London where myths and technology co-exist. As a member of an elite order of knights, join a centuries-old war that will determine the course of history forever.

This game for me really showed my age and how far we've come. By that I mean the reviews and bitching at how 'short' it was. Whilst I won't deny at all that in terms of what you get, it is short in today's standards, when I compare it to games I played as a teen such as Resident Evil 1, that game (and it may surprise some) is shorter than The Order 1886, but back then we didn't worry that we had completed the game in 5 hours on our first play through, and even under 3 hours on the second, getting the infinite rocket launcher along the way. Nor did we even think twice that even back then on its release we paid £50 for it. And that stands for many many games of that generation. Just shows how we demand today a certain amount of hours for a certain amount of money. Personally, I thought The Order 1886 was a very enjoyable game with a fantastic voice cast, easily one of the best I've heard since Naughty Dogs Uncharted and Last of Us respectfully. I think it was hard done by even at full price, but maybe that's because I'm an old school gamer. At this price, it's a no brainer.

I was having a look... Looks like they won't be doing it.. Could have been the Gears of War of PS. Especially if they added multiplayer.

This was sequel-bait so most definitely.
EDIT: Apparently it's cancelled.

The game is actually ok. It's short but if your a trophy hunter it's an easy short platinum.

You shouldn't.
Paid £32 on release and traded in for £30 when i'd completed it.
Didn't have to wait 12 months to play it either.
Despite what everyone says this is a cracking game. Well worth your time.

I was enjoying it until I hit a game breaking bug on chapter 8 that halted any progress :disappointed:

Graphically especially for a console, it's superb, the gameplay is limited though. More like a graphics demo really.

Easy platinum and decent'ish story. Wouldn't say its worth full price but totally worth a punt at £13.95.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It's linear and there's not a huge amount of depth to the gameplay, but the story is decent, the weapons feel nice and punchy, the environments are interesting and it's visually stunning.
Check out some of the shots I got with the in-game camera mode, it's truly impressive: http://imgur.com/a/K6tt5

Agreed; longer doesn't necessarily mean better (that's what she said).
I recently finished The Witcher 3, and as much as I enjoyed that game, it felt at times as though it would never end. Ditto Catherine; I thought I'd finished it at the 20-minute cutscene, but nope: here come loads more levels to fry your brain.
And similarly, about 50-60 hours into Persona 4, I feel a bit like I've seen everything there is to offer (weird story, grinding through dungeons, killing free time with social activities). Do I really want to invest another 50 hours doing much the same thing? Probably not.
Consequently, I'd be quite happy with something that isn't going to demand 100+ hours of my time. I'll probably start the Dragon Age series shortly, but for now, this will do the trick. Good pitch.

Well worth buying, graphics are fantastic, a bit short, took me 9 hours, bought it for 12 quid and got my money back when I sold it on, it's not a keeper, but definitely worth your time

Paid around £6 for a US digital code for this game. Would've been happy with the game even if I paid more than £13.95

where did you order Uncharted 4 from and for how much?

9 Feb 16#22
I completed this a couple of weeks ago, and it's definitely worth the price.
Short? I suppose so. The ending just sort of happens out of nowhere. Oh and it makes far too much use of quick time events.
But the quality of the rest of the production is unmatched IMO, and easily makes up for it's shortcomings.
I will be very disappointed if no sequel appears, and despite earlier posts I cannot find 100% proof that none will ever appear.
They have built a fantastic base to build upon. Just allow us a bit more freedom when fighting instead of QTEs and I'd be very happy.

Not sure where you got that from, this is from December last year:

please correct me if I'm wrong, but that quote doesn't necessarily mean they're making a new The Order game, just that they're making another game.

Amazed that this (and knack) haven't been given away on PSN yet. They can't be getting many sales on them.
I brought this last year Played it, completed it, platinumed it, enjoyed it and sold it on eBay for about a 50p loss after costs (love how ebayers never look to see if they can buy it brand new for a similar price).

You might find that people will pay over the odds on Ebay as they accumulate an excess of PayPal funds through auctioning goods. I do at times and don't mind blowing an extra quid or two over retail when picking up items. Swings & roundabouts my friend.
