I wish that I could work out exactly which games this code applies against! I've had no luck with Hyrule Warriors Legends or Bravely Second. :disappointed:

There's no news about this as of yet. Though with all other amiibo game bundles, you could buy the amiibo separately.

Good luck with Game Wii U Amiibo pre-orders. Remember when they said a lorry with Splatoon Amiibo went missing and had to cancel plenty of pre-orders?

Tried this code with Dark Souls 3 no luck. I managed to get the Amazon Zelda at £35.85 guna stick at that but great price

Im looking forward to this as I havnt played it yet, due to not liking motion control and not forking out £40-50 for a camecube copy. I can see it being aimed at ppl like me but then again iv bought ocarina of time 5 times on diff consoles... lol

They have already had a celebration of zelda on its 25th anniversary. They don't celebrate occasions every 5 years. This year is Pokemon and their anniversary and specials.

Comes with soundtrack CD. That made me more interested than the game itself.

Why do we need them on a disc? They just recently released the DS games on virtual console with single-digit prices and a buy-one-get-one-half-price offer to make it even nicer. I don't remember which are available on which platform, but between Wii U and 3DS there's very little you can't get now. I don't think it's illogical to move to providing improved versions, and using their first HD console to improve games previously designed for console is just sensible.

Good price, but I'll be buying elsewhere this time.
Their apparent obsession with vacuum packing everything in bubble wrap that is not a standard game case is infuriating. Someone needs to tell them that there are times when using a box for packing just makes more sense. How difficult is it I wonder to get this right?
Noble_6 to etceteraz
4 Feb 16#28
Agreed. I have had several boxes damaged due to their incompetent packaging. My Halo Master Chief Collection box was practically destroyed

Good find but you gotta be wary about pre-ordering from Game now after they cancelled Pip Boy Fallout and charged several times for Mario Maker!

I will not preorder from Game ever again after they charged me 7 times for Mario Maker.I'd rather not be left overdrawn for a £15 Game voucher.

Its a really lazy port this, pre ordered anyway. I was one of the lucky ones to get it for £35 on Amazon. Hoping the Amiibo and CD make £20 between them on the 'Bay, making the game £15 for me. Thats about what this games worth tbh.

The game's still over a month from release - you can't really know whether or not it's a "lazy port" until then.

Never order from GAME, they're SCUM. I've had nothing but trouble with them in the past. I've this pre ordered from thegamecollection. Rather pay them the extra few Euros than gives those snakes any money. And you never know, their price may drop in the meantime.

4 Feb 16#44
Why disc? You can actually play it many years later as a physical copy is bound to work flawlessly as long as you take good care of it.
Digital games aren't too likely to ever last online forever.

oNoYouNintenDidnt
4 Feb 16#57
I guess the real reason I am so "meh" over this, aside from the fact again that it is a game that had had 2 physical release already, is that it is ALSO the anniversary of Metroid.......and where is there ANYTHING regarding that?
And of course, there really is no need for anyone to try and allude to that pathetic excuse "Metroid game" Federation Force as being a celebration of that anniversary.
Gamer_U
4 Feb 161#58
Depends. They can price match whenever they feel like it and rarely anyone will notice except when they see the price on their orders.
Maybe I should've pre-ordered Star Fox Zero when Amazon had it for £32 and then use my Amazon credits/vouchers but whatever, £26 is a pretty decent price for a game developed by Platinum Games.
PrinceRules64
4 Feb 16#59
Erm... not sure that common argument holds any water here, given that none of these are online games and AFAIK Nintendo has no precedent for locking out digital games ever. So, there's no difference to say that the digital games would be "bound to work flawlessly as long as you take good care of it", it being the hardware storage it's on in the case of digital, as opposed to the storage the "physical" copy is on (you realise that DVD literally stands for "Digital versatile disc", right?).
So why not just either a) buy the originals and take good care of those into the future, or b) buy them now and take good care of your Wii U/3DS, or c) buy them many years later when you want to play it. Why do we need a remake now on current hardware for old games in order to play them in the future on then-outdated hardware... none of these time periods match up. Constantly living in the past or future makes no sense
Gamer_U
4 Feb 16#60
Digital games = Digital format
As such you never really own an actual copy of it and is more like a rental until X company shuts down the online support to acquire the content. With physical games this is not an issue.
Pyrii
5 Feb 16#61
Wait, I just realised that the CD that comes with the special edition is the "Sound Selection CD" which if I remember contains 5 whole tracks. What a rip!
Gordon40
5 Feb 16#62
Just bought it with the code, thanks OP! Had almost £3 in points too so got it for £36, gutted I missed the Amazon super deal but hey ho, it's only a £1 or so difference, not too bothered about the Amiibo but hey, will give it a go, why not! Viva Wii U!
I'll summarise. At the end of the day you down own a copy, exactly the same as what's on the disc, it lasts as long as you don't smash it up. Nobody is going to delete it from afar just because it's on HDD or SD instead of DVD.
Gamer_U
8 Feb 16#65
You can defend digital format all day but in the end the one format that will last forever -- That's if you take real good care of it is physical format whereas digital format is a digital copy so you're stuck to that digital copy on the system and its online support.
That in itself is rubbish.
PrinceRules64
8 Feb 16#66
Online doesn't even come into it  Take real good care of your physical format AND the system it comes on. These two conditions are two sides of the same coin.
Gamer_U
8 Feb 16#67
So if you need to re-aquire it then how'll you do it? Oh, that's right. Online.
PrinceRules64
9 Feb 16#68
What does re-aquiring have to do with it? What kind of fantasy world do you live in where you can re-aquire a broken disc without buying it again? You can't have one set of criteria for one thing, and a different set for the other, and pretend like it's a fair comparison. Both of them will continue to work indefinitely as long as you take care of them.
That's what I bolded at the beginning and repeated again because you go in circles. That is the bottom line. End of story. Please understand.

Don't get too excited just yet - you can expect the game to arrive on Friday, no sooner. GAME always explain their process in their pre-order confirmation emails.
