As title.

The gold edition of The Division (Inc season pass etc) from Xbox store Argentina.

Nearly half the price of the disc version from Amazon.

EDIT some buyers are reporting they are being charged less than £34 for this so it could be even cheaper.

EDIT 2: Some buyers reporting its now sub £33 so its getting even cheaper.

EDIT 3: Standard edition of the game for £25

EDIT 4: Further price drop to £31.70 for GOLD

thats why you click on the game an it takes you to the store rather than go to each store and take ages looking for any game your interested in,its an excellent site and saves loads of time. Sort you first link out also as it dead.

I've just tried clicking on the game on DGP (Farcry Primal) and it hasn't taken me directly to any store.
If I click through to the more info section, it then takes me to the Xbox store but only the UK one. I've still then got to change the region on the Xbox live site.
Also, as I've said, it doesn't take into account sales and offers. For example, the cheapest NFS on DGP is £33 and we know we can get the deluxe version for £15.

DGP is a good site but it's not 100% accurate.

Yes, I realise that but, for example, going back to NFS, it can be purchased for £20 physical copy from Tesco. I'm stood wondering if I can get it for less so I rely on DGP and it shows £33 so I buy the copy from Tesco.
I then get home and realise I could have got it for £14.

That's your issue though not a function of DGP. it's daft trying to compare digital sales with physical sales. Physical sales regularly see price cuts more so than digital only.

What i always do is go onto storeparser see the recent drops which obviously include latest data, i then go to digitalgamesprices and search for the game see which region is cheapest (even when it doesn't match the new updated price click through to region link which now shows me the updated price.

I'd never go back to collecting those rings of plastic, being a gamesharer my wallet thanks me and so does the wife for not having geeky game cases lying all over the house.

I know what you're saying. My original point about DGP was that, whilst it's good, it's not 100% reliable or accurate and shouldn't be relied upon solely where as the other chap was suggesting that it was the "go to" place for game price comparisons.
I'll go with whatever is cheaper. If digital copy is cheaper than physical, that's where I go and vice versa.
The only exception to this would be the likes of, say, Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Completed it 100% and without paying more for DLC, has no replay appeal to me at all so traded it.

I did this with R6 Siege Gold Edition using Revolut on the Argentinian store & it worked great. However, I did the same to buy A Boy & His Blob last wk from ARG & the payment was taken but the game never showed in my Xbox account. I checked & spoke to Revolut & payment is still showing as pending 9 days later. Revolut have said that they cannot do anything & I need to take it up with MS (which will look really did if I do). Revolut also said that if its still pending after the 10th that the amount is normally returned to my account. Just a heads up that ARG store is maybe clamping down on Revolut payments.

I joined Revolut purely to buy from other regions and yet never managed to get it to work with any. Each time, it took a small amount as pending and then returned it days later. In the end I contacted Microsoft who said that they don't support the revolut card. I don't know how others manage to use it if this is the case though.

I used all my real details for revolut. Microsoft took several small payments for several different transactions and then returned them a few weeks later. Contacted Revolut CS who advised me to speak to MS. Spoke to MS who said they could offer me no assistance as it was an "unsupported" payment method.

No idea.

Never tried to buy from other regions, fear of being banned. Is this something that could happen? Could I get banned from purchasing from other regions? I've been buying from other regions for 2 years. I've had to contact Microsoft on occasions to discuss issues and they have seen my purchase history. Nothing was said. The Xbox one is a region free machine. It's not the same as the multi account scam that people were getting banned for on the 360.

I'll never say never but I've not heard of anyone getting banned for this as it isn't a breach of the t and c's

Yes. All you are doing is downloading the game from the same place, no matter what region you buy it from. It's the console settings and the in game settings that change languages etc in games now.

Used Revolut for the first time yesterday and worked fine! £33.95 so with the free £5 signup bonus this has cost me £28.95. I have done this trick previously with Russia store and gift cards for games and never had to use vpn but with Argentina I had to, Try using a proxy server I.P setting on your PC if VPN is not working for you. It worked for me.. i had an email from Microsoft warning that someone had logged into my account from Argentina!

Microsoft take a small amount <£0.50 to validate the payment method. This will be refunded within a couple of days.

For people having the payments rejected :

You need to use a VPN to make the payment. Microsoft check your location against the country of the store and if they don't match the payment will fail.

I use VyprVPN for this, it is really easy to set up and the free account is fine. You only need the VPN connected when you click the final payment button. Just make sure the VPN is set to the same country as the store you are buying from.

Revolut also works fine for the actual payment method. You don't need to change your money into another currency, just load some money on to Revolut and then it works like any other Mastercard. You do need to provide a valid address and telephone number for the country you are buying from. This isn't checked against the card in any way though so it can be any address. An easy one to search for is the US embassy in that country as the info will be in English.

Got refunded on revolut. Unlimited VPN was causing the declined issue as I could pick a Brazilian or Chilean server, no argentine on though. So used VyprVPN which has an argentine server. However now it's saying the method of payment is not accepted.

TBH, I've never managed to get revolut to work. I've always used my CC. Revolut kept rejecting payment. It works for some and not for others and neither Revolut or Microsoft customer services could help.

Cheers OP, I managed to get this done with revolut, vyprvpn trial and a McDonalds address in Buenos Aries. Installing now.

Revolut kept on saying I was using the wrong address attached to my card until I removed the village I live in.

I also have my home Xbox set on a family members xbox and vice versa. So we've just halfed the £32.55 it just cost me. Happy days.

I tried via desktop VPN and Revolut payment first with no joy

Then used via my android phone and the VyprVPN app (selecting Argentina) and it went through fine

With the MSE free £5 on Revolut, the Division Gold edition cost me £26.71!

That's one heck of a saving vs xbox uk store (even against disc purchase on the cheapest I could find!)

Looking forward to playing whilst being immensely smug at the good deal

I did everything as per instructions. Used vyprVPN, added local address and phone number too.

I keep getting error PBR9002, which after quick internet search is to do with region blocking of the store by Microsoft. When you try to buy something wrong other region store this is apparently treated as a fraudulent activity and can lead to blocking account.. I'll speak to the support and see what's what.

Microsoft unblocked my account for purchases (they blocked it as I had so many purchase attempts). Still couldn't purchase it using standard credit cards, but what I did is change my address details to Argentinian in Revolut and put the same address as a billing address when adding Revolut details in microsoft store and that finally worked. 3 bloody days to get that working!

Good news. Also good to see that Microsoft don't actually care where you make the purchase from.
At least you have it set up now for future use and it only takes seconds to make purchases now (as my credit card statement can confirm!!!)

What VPN services are you guys using? I tried Vypr and a couple of others. Using Revolut with an Argentinean university address. Keep getting the "try another card" message...
