Used to order loads and collect at my local store.. Would have ordered this too, but refuse to pay them £2 for me to go and collect it myself! Won't buy from them on principal now..

I was hoping you'd realise by now that you'd failed to create a link and would have corrected it.

Lucky Tesco - you're spending your money with them rather than their competitors.

The red version is £20 in store.
I bought a blue one for £10 as I could not reserve directly due to no stock.
Was almost as cheap as buying the descaler for my old kettle.

That says more about the descaler than the kettle - use vinegar.

Besides tha fact that I find the kettle ugly, I also stopped bying from Tesco because of the delivery charge. I don't care what their reason is for chargeing, others' don't charge.

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face - you'll miss out on bargains. Shops hate click and collect because of how much it costs them. With Tesco taking the lead, the others will follow.

So you'd make a special journey to Tesco to save £2?

No, its more like a taxi driver charging a flat group fee to their group of passengers, except for one who they charge extra even though that passenger uses their taxi loads and had already agreed to use that taxi that day rather than go and spend their money with some other taxi service entirely.

Because there's a lot more to the cost of getting an individual item picked, delivered and presented to you than the bit that involves getting it from the warehouse to the store, perhaps?

So on that principle a taxi driver who has a fare paying ride in back should give free journey on that route to everyone he finds walking...
