They are also bigger than the other branded crumpets which come in packs of 6 and cost double the price.

well warburtons were right beside them. £1 for 6. That's 50p x 2 = double price and less crumpets. they had tesco value crumpets 6 for 35p too

No, Tesco charge 89p for Warburtons and it's rare that they charge that much, they are usually on some kind of deal
Kingsmill are 2 for 1.20

Massive saving there, almost 3 pence on a pack, but again, I'm fairly sure that the Lidl ones are always 35p per pack and the Tesco ones are always 50p.....why is this a deal ?

Whether it is regular or special price pro rata Lidl is cheaper per crumpet than Tesco - but correct it isn't a deal

For me 50p is a good price the branded ones are usually £1 for 9 and my nearest asda doesn't sell their own 9 pack

Some areas of the country oddly blanket term 'Crumpets' as 'Pikelets' regardless of there being a [difference] between the two.

Err aren't these always 50p? I've been buying these pink packet tesco ones since they came out, but maybe I forgot the price haha.
Inferior to pricey Warbs, superior to Kings and Asda own brand, incomparable to the inedible Tesco Value.
All in these have always been a good buy. Just not sure it's a 'deal' but then who cares I guess.

Yup.
Not a deal, just a product that's competitively priced and has been for years. The sheep of HUKD have voted it hot and they've done a sterling job
