Yep, got Diesel trainers from USC online last month, very disappointed with the quality. I'm sure S.Direct own USC too. Shame.

PTFE causes cancer as per the Internet. I replaced all my tefal with ceramic when I read about this. Many people I know have cancer. Scares the **** out of me

Also contains the neurotoxin, fluoride.
Non-stick pans aren't the only things contributing to illness like cancer in modern society,
there's also aluminum from aerosol and roll on deodorants, alcoholic drinks, some forms of birth control, fumes from candles, car fumes, fluoride in toothpaste, weed killers, aspartame from diet colas/fizzy/soda drinks and chewing gums, canned foods, microwave pop corn, burnt foods such as burnt toast, processed sugar, cigarettes, white bread, etc.
(Not sure how bad the white bread thing is but the rest is definitely really bad in their effects and may increase the chance of cancers, Alzheimer's, bone fluorosis, diabetes, etc.)
But yeah, I would personally throw away any aluminium or non-stick pans as cancer/Alzheimer's isn't worth the convenience it brings. Ceramic is far safer.
Not fear-mongering, just letting people know so they can make an informed decision.
Don't be scared of this stuff. Just try to avoid it and do NOT stress out!
Pretend you were gonna die anyway and just think this is a sort of "second chance"
where you have a new perspective of life. Be cautious but not too worrisome.
Stress is a significant factor in the progression of cancer.
Starting to wonder why so many people die of cancer in January. (Or die, full stop....Winter blues being a factor?)
Who knows.

Not worth a buy then? Need a new frying pan and morrisons is local. To be fair the cheapest ones usually last so long as there maintained anyway, I'm still forever replacing them because other people use metal spoons/spatulas etc and not washing them properly :disappointed:
