Came across this at Home Bargains in Sheffield today. They had assorted designs and it's a national deal. Thought it was a bargain for 29p.

My wife bought one of these. Not only is it ghastly, its also quite pointless. It is very small and limited space means it just ends up overflowing with Teabags and causing more mess than it saves.
Still very puzzled as whats wrong with just using a more fit for purpose plastic container, or a a small bowl, or better still carefully stick the teabag in the bin.

I agree. But some people are so stingy that they probably reuse the tea bag!

Great find. Great item, we have one and it is good looking when clean and empty and so can stay on the worktop.

Place teabag on dish and then transfer to the bin ......or, place teabag in bin. What purpose does this serve?

Doesn't make sense to put teabags on a dish when you're going to put the teabags in the bin afterwards !!

Put your bags in bowl, feed the plants with them, make an art installation out of them.. chuck 'em in the bin...whatever... just don't let other people dictate to you what you should do with your old teabags!

It's your money. If you're stupid enough to waste it on tat like this, all I can do if wish you luck filling your kitchen cupboards with single use small kitchen appliances.

What has single use small kitchen appliances got to do with this? This goes on my worktop not in my cupboards. You're right- it is my money and its only 29 pence. What may be tat to you may be useful to me and vice versa. You're entitled to your opinion but don't call me stupid when your post doesn't even have relevance to what this post is about.

Yeah each to their own. Controversial deal  My wife would vote this hot and I'd say cold. This little item that only costs 29p could cause divorces?

Teabags should go in the compost recycling!

Funnily enough, I don't store my tea bags on this dish forever.
