Yeah, but does it come with an alternative outfit for Ryu? Because that's what I really want to find out.
you wont get it on release day in my experience. They tend to dispatch the day before release day so you may get it on release day but in my experience I always received it the day after that..

street fighter alpha 3 is a fantastic game, imo the best street fighter which had a great story mode, rivalries, and the super combo -ism system was brilliantly executed.

You've ruined that game for me now, I'll never be able to hear them as anything else.
The instructions indicated that during the hurricane kick he's meant to be saying "tatsumaki-senpuu-kyaku", it certainly didn't sound anything like that (and a lot more like what you said...)
I generally find it better to fight without loudly announcing the name of the special move I'm doing; shouting "really hard kick in the knackers" will serve little purpose other than ruining the element of surprise.

3 Feb 16#35
Physical copies for fighter games is pointless and a waste of time.
Fighter games are meant for when taking a break or want a quick match etc and since it has infinite replayability you go back to it often, that's why you should buy it digitally.
So you can access the game instantly without always having to get up to swap discs all the time.

3 Feb 161#50
LMAO people debating about digital/physical.
I mean are people becoming really lazy just to swap discs? Back in my days we had cartridges with no save state ability. (Sega Master System).
Digital and Physical both have there pros and cons but with digital you always have the chance of getting screwed over more if...
1. Account Ban
Sony bans your account or you do something stupid to get your account banned.
2. License/Partnership
License issues with publisher/developer. Game is taken off the online store for future purchases. What happens when you purchased it and deleted it to make room for another game and then decide to play that game? Knowing Sony they probably won't allow you to download the game again.
3. Closure/Support of PSN
If Sony PSN goes bust or lets say after 10 years or so they shut servers down for PS4. What are happens to your games? Sony have not mentioned anything about backup plans or any future plans. I wonder what will happen to all PS3 digital games in the next couple of years that people have purchased.
The other thing you got to keep in mind is internet speed. Many places don't even have fast internet. This is something that is getting better but at a slow rate. At moment a game takes roughly 40-50GB of Blu ray disc space. Imagine PS5 next gen console uses up to 100GB data for game. People will be screwed in Digital. IF you have fast internet then your fine.
With digital you have a higher chance of getting screwed over than physical. Physical media won't die for gaming just yet.
eloo
3 Feb 16#51
Digital can game share with a mate so split 50/50 so its cheaper too and also instant access of all your games from dashboard within an instant. And lol at ban, you must be doing something dodgy.
Second Street Fighter is a huge game no way they would take that down.
Thirdly they're going for a more digital future as with all game platforms nowadays you must be stupid if you think they would let that happens to all their digital games.
imagineS
3 Feb 16#52
Yep its cheaper if going 50/50 to game share but when PSN is down for maintenance one person will be screwed to play the game if it's a non multiplayer game.
Basically with digital your purchasing oxygen. Oxygen runs out you doomed.
imagineS
3 Feb 16#53
Look at Marvel vs Capcom 3 and other games. These games were taken off Xbox Live due to license issues and yet these games were high rated games by Capcom.
Anything can happen

Steam is all digital yet its alive and kicking, digital future it is
imagineS
3 Feb 16#55
Yes Steam is alive and kicking. Digital on PC is better option than going digital on consoles. Didn't Steam outline something before if they were to go bust they would still allow people to play there games and download them? Digital gaming on console is scary.
However you need decent internet speed for digital. 4K 100GB Blu ray disc have been announced. No doubt PS5 or Xbox Two will use this 100GB technology. Games on next gen will surpass the 50GB current disc mark. Now imagine downloading that huge data plus any day one patch. If there is many people downloading at same then your screwed further lol. PSN isn't the strongest for downloading games as they have speed issues with downloading games.

I tend to be OK with some censorship but this game's been heavily censored as it is.
dazzyp
4 Feb 16#66
You really don't know what censorship it. Censorship comes from an outside body / agency, this was an internal decision at Capcom.
Arif123
4 Feb 16#67
I don't know what SJW means. But I'm alright if my fighting game has a couple of seconds of CGI bum removed. (As far as I know thats all that was censored...)
Gamer_U
4 Feb 16#68
If you want to believe that, that's up to you.
dazzyp
4 Feb 16#69
It's not something to believe or have an opinion over, censorship is defined as suppression of speech or art by other agencies or groups. No outside agency blocked the content. Street Fighter V's change was a editorial decision to sell the game.
Gamers really need to grow up and realise these a mass market products that need to be sold instead of creating political correct bogey men (or women in this case).

The aim to achieve integrity in gaming journalism in regards to fair reviewing and standards in the gaming industry, yet the gaming media decided to divert the concerns of gamers to falsely state their hate of female gamers, spearheaded by feminists and sjw's such as anita sarkeesian. Hardline feminists used this fallacy to attempt to dictate and control the creation and development of games as a form of entertainment and as a art form, but gamers fought back proving that their claims of "gamers as women haters online and on social media" had no credence, as out of 2 million tweets on gamergate, less than 0.4% had been "attacks on women gamers" (with a set amount of those being faked troll attempts to "boost" the numbers, which obviously failed).
hass123
4 Feb 16#74
In other words, your "Gamers really need to grow up and realise these a mass market products that need to be sold instead of creating political correct bogey men (or women in this case)." and "Explain what exactly?" (In response to me bringing up the topic of gamergate) show that you have no credence to comment about the direct censorship of SFV.
dazzyp
5 Feb 16#75
A. "Then explain Gamergates" as a statement makes no sense (history, why they exist?) so I'm not sure how that disproves or proves credence. B. Gamergates talking about "journalistic integrity" focusing on some woman getting with a Kotaku journalist is honestly strange. The real problem with "journalism" in the games industry is one of early views & the problems of the preview system, not one of gender. C. You don't know what the word "censorship" means. No agency demanded the content be removed, censorship by its very nature is from an outside force.
This is from Ono himself, the games director:
“We didn’t make any change because of external influences Those changes came up internally. We decided to remove that because we want the biggest possible number of people to play, and we don’t want to have something in the game that might make someone uncomfortable.”
As he makes quite clear, he wants to sell his game to everyone & expand the audience. It may have also affected the age rating which is a big no no for fighting games when it comes to reducing sales, no one but shooters can have an 18 on the box.
Anyway, you're not going to change your mind, hard-line feminists are obviously running everything. Enjoy the Return of Kings event this weekend.

A - Nice use of Google  . B - What I said on the first sentence explaining what happened, "The aim to achieve integrity in gaming journalism in regards to fair reviewing and standards in the gaming industry, yet the gaming media decided to divert the concerns of gamers to falsely state their hate of female gamers, spearheaded by feminists and sjw's such as anita sarkeesian." C and that Ono statement - He obviously sh*t it from the sjw's, proven by the changes made from the YouTube link further up on this comment section.

All services are basically the same. That's why I only buy digitally when titles are heavily discounted(so basically throw away money) or DRM free stuff from GOG. No one should expect Steam / PSN / Live etc to be around & functional in 10 years time.
