Found the DLC to be pretty poor for the money they're asking. That said; I've already sunk about 40 hours into the base game and so don't mind supporting the Dev by picking up the DLC. Will probably wait for future DLC to drop in price though as the next one looks just as lacklustre.

Well you've expressed your disappointment on two posts now - but I might point out that After Dark is generally popular so it's a minority view. Personally I like the eye candy! :stuck_out_tongue:

It's been said the code for the night cycle is in the base game. That's a mere technicality. It's deployed in the same installer.
To unlock the feature you need the After Dark DLC.
It's well worth the price as it's absolutely beautiful ! :smiley:

Just a heads up. I ordered the base game on the other deal yesterday. Paypal has taken the money, but I've yet to be sent a key.
Update: OK, so this might help some. I didn't get a mail with they key like you do with CD Keys (maybe I should of).
But you can find the key in your orders details, by hitting the "view order" link, and it shows the key.

Regardless supporting the developer by purchasing the DLC is good enough. The game is excellent and worth more then what the digital price is as of now.

Apparently these expansions are not all they're cracked up to be? They add the main feature (night cycle) to the base game for free?

Yeah, the added DLC content does seem minimal to it's price tag (£10.99) it adds extra bus roads, bicycles, taxis, leisure and tourism, and an improved crime system. However the day/night cycle is in the base game. It definitely would need to be questioned at £10.99, i'm not so sure at £4.14?
I do hear however that the latest Snowfall(?) DLC does add even less of content for its price.
