I admittedly did report the older deal about this product but as things are, it remains expired so I've decided to post it myself so folks here wouldn't lose their chance to pre-order if they'd want.
This promotion ends today.

Reported the old deal also. Good price and heated, though I'll be waiting for reviews!

Because the deal was showing as out of stock... and now it's back in stock...

The fact this price is dropping so much and the fact the game has been delayed several times at this point is a bit worrying.
Will be a poor game. Pre-release impressions were pretty bad.

The price isn't dropping. This is just taking advantage of a time-limited (generally applicable) discount code from one specific merchant.
Pre-release impressions are no substitute for giving any game fair consideration - be they positive or negative. You're also probably thinking of the E3 2015 build; there was a more recent showing in a Nintendo Direct towards the end of last year which showed significant updates.

Want to vote hot but the game footage looks disappointing as hell. Hoping it has been redone from the ground up :-/
4 weeks is the waiting time for same deal to be deposited, I was told by the same person posting this. Does hotukdeals give commission?

They've had press preview events for it. It's apparently unplayable because of stupid motion control cockpit targeting. Hopefully they're working a standard control scheme in, Shiggy had veto'd Platinum from doing so, but the rumbling is so bad that he may have reconsidered.

And no, I don't get any commission (would be nice though). Instead I just reposted to make people aware of it to get their pre-orders in before the promotion's over.
If only we had some reliable reviews and knew if it were worth buying :disappointed:
As a HUGE fan of the SNES version, I really want this to be good. 3DFX chip

He's making excuses and acknowledging a control problem inside 30 seconds. He knows.

Why do you seemingly have such an agenda of rubbishing the game, when it's still not even released and you've no experience of playing it? You're clearly misrepresenting the overall thrust of the video linked to by imdurc.
If you don't want to buy it then just don't. The best advice is, as always, for anyone who's at all unsure, just wait until the game's released and look out for final impressions/reviews at that time before making a decision. The game may end up being viewed as good, it may not, but no-one here can say for certain right now. There will of course, as with pretty much all games, be some people who enjoy it and others who don't.

He literally says, "and the controls which everyone's worrying about," while going on to explain that he doesn't think they're that bad. He even explains the issues people have mentioned, are coming from the right control stick being used for flight controls. Summed up, he says, "New controls confuse everybody the first time they use them." Simple as that. I wonder what those with control issues thought of the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, game.
EDIT: I don't pre-order games unless they're a sure thing, so I won't be pre-ordering this one either. Just wanted to add that

It's never great when you open with those kind of caveats though. not to mention 'Nintendolife' perhaps not wanting to lambast a first party game.
It's different with Brothers, it wasn't a tent-pole release. This is a first party arcade shooter! The controls should be intuitive.
Voicing a concern, doesn't constitute an agenda. With all the delays, there's obviously a problem. My overall point is; Maybe don't pre-order this. Wait and see, it's not like you won't be able to find a copy on release.

I think you've misinterpreted why he mentions it. Again, he points it out due to some people having issues with the controls. To not mention it when other have, well, he wouldn't be doing his job then, would he? I doubt Nintendolife are biased, they simply report on Nintendo activities. Watched any other of their videos?
"All the delays"..? You mean, the one delay it's had?
Btw, the "Brothers" game isn't different. It's a game that used controls in a different way to the norm and some had trouble with it. The new Starfox game isn't anywhere near as complicated as all it seems to alter is having a stick for actions, rather than a camera. If people playing it are that picky, I'm not surprised Nintendolife talked about it as it's easy to dismiss. I've used a right-analog stick for actions and it's fine.

The right stick being used for actions isn't the issue, it's the motion missile aiming that most outlets have moaned about. I used stick acceleration on Gran Turismo back in the day, you're right; you get used to it.
What I'm getting at with 'Brothers' is that tent-pole releases on floundering consoles aren't the place to be getting "experimental" with control schemes. If the problem is as bad as the rumours suggest, then why the hell has it been brought on this far? The code shown at the most recent preview events had not facility to change or turn off the motion controls, yet after pretty vocal disapproval Nintendo came out and said that you can. I think they're eleventh-hour putting it in.
I don't imagine they're particularly biased either, but blacklisting is a real problem in the industry. I don't suppose you can risk being blacklisted by the only company your outlet covers. No more review copies, no more pressers... It can't not have any affect, can it?

Yeah, I see your point. Especially if those controls can be altered.
I think the best course of action is to wait for release news. If nothing comes up, it's probably going to come out without issues.
As for blacklisting, that's a pretty extreme thing to happen. I heard about Kotaku's Ubisoft blackout, but I doubt Nintendo would be so callous towards anyone for questioning the control system of Starfox!
