It essentially allows to you bluetooth pair by swiping your device (phone,. tablet etc) over it.

I've got this bar in the bedroom its a good cheap upgrade.

I got one free with my sony tv 18 months ago. For this price it's pretty good. Not very loud but bluetooth works well and it has reasonable sound quality.
