Not another Sky thread!! Abboooooooooo!!! But it is in my opinion a hot UK deal!
£7.83 per month for family bundle. (normally £36 per month)
£20.83 per month for the complete bundle. (Normally £75.75 per month)
See below for details.
If you have cancelled Sky within the last 12 months and also have your equipment still there is a cracking deal available to you. I have just done this myself.
In the top right hand corner where it says store locator there should be a chat symbol. If it is not there it's because they are busy. If you wait it will appear.
Choose these options
> I am interested in joining Sky, Then
> I've been a Sky customer in the last 12 months
Chat will connect you.
The deal is this...
*Keep your same equipment
*Choose £12 per month for Family Bundle which includes HD, 3D and boxsets. Or choose £25 for the complete bundle which is the same as above with movies and sports.
*£50 credit on your bill instantly
*Reconnected instantly
*No 12 month contract (30 days notice required to cancel)
Discount is for 12 months then goes back to normal price so set a reminder in your phone or write it down to give 30 days notice.
Price works out like this because...
Family Bundle
12 months x £12 = £144
Minus the £50 instant credit = £96
£96 over 12 months is £7.83 per month
Complete Bundle
12 Months x £25 = £300
Minus the £50 instant credit = £250
£250 over 12 months is £20.83
Thank you and have a good day.

If you cancelled 3 weeks ago then you're presumably still in contract and 35% is probably the best you'll get, unless you check the Sky Service app and you might get offered 50% there, in which case you'll need to phone them up to accept that. You won't get an account credit that way though. Wait until your services are switched off and go on web chat and negotiate that way. Tell them you want Family bundle if you were to come back. Keep haggling until you get what you want. It'll take about a half hour but it's worth it. Good luck.

If anybody's still looking at this thread then I thought I'd add my experiences. I quit Sky a month ago to renegotiate a better price as I was paying £30 / month for Variety bundle which was just too much. I wanted Family bundle for the HD channels and boxed sets so the day my service stopped, I got onto Sky via web chat and said I wanted to give Sky a last chance before I bought a Freesat box (I didn't have any intention of getting a Freesat box). Initial offer was 35% off. I turned it down saying it wasn't enough and was offered 50% via the Sky Services app. I said I wanted Family bundle and a better price. He offered 50% off and £50 credit so that's £18 / month - £50 credit avaeraging out to £13.83. I pushed for a greater credit but he wasn'[t budging so I took his offer gladly. It's going to save me about £200 over the year and I get an upgrade. I'm happy with the result and only lost service for a couple of hours.

I really do feel like if you sign up to something for a fixed period it should be that price for that time. I understand prices need to go up sometimes but it should be honoured at the agreed price for your minimum term no matter what ofcom or whoever it is governs it. At the end of the minimum term do what you want to the price as we can make a choice.

How convenient.. yet again have decided to whack up their prices as of 1st June 2016!! Add's an extra £4.50 mth onto my package. Luckly Im on a rolling contract so likely to cancel on 1st May.
Year in year out they sneak these price rises in and the content is getting less and less (especially as a footie fan).

That's excellent if you can get all that for that price. The only things you will miss out compared to Sky I think would be Sky Atlantic, their Universal channel isn't in HD, and I don't think their History channel is either (I've been comparing as we didn't know whether to swap or not). But the programmes you will miss out you could download if necessary. But again the way the box works I've only heard bad stuff, but I did ask them if there's a test period where you can return if you don't like and they said 14 days.

the vip package includes sky sports and movies. i think they quoted me an extra £10 p/m for that. I did manage to get them to offer me free netflix (standard plan) for 6 months
Fellows

Isn't that the VIP package that includes all of those? We were looking to change all to VM but the VIP was offered for £84 (which includes their best internet speed plus BT Sport), but others in the household wanted to keep Sky so we accepted their deal - at the moment we have both totalling £77 which isn't bad compared to what we used to pay. Haven't had cable for years but only heard bad stuff about their TV - not as nice to use and laggy?

i am having a similar experience to you. i cancelled sky a few days back and then contacted virgin who offered me the big kahuna bundle for £39 per month (phone broadband and tv - equiv of fam bundle + bt sport). sky are only offering me 35% discount currently. I'm really keen on the complete bundle for £25 but was told on sky chat its not avail. will wait it out and see what happens.

I think it might depend on the timing - whether it's a decent person you can get in touch with or whether you are in cancellation period or not. I had similar deals of 50% off with credit at the beginning of the month but fell ill so didn't get round to accepting - plus there was a whole month left until cancel so I was hoping other deals would pop up. During the last few days all they offered was 35% off which was rubbish. Ending up cancelling the other night but today on my account they offered half price TV package - rang them up to get it but they could only offer half price multi room with it, but did manage to get £50 credit. Went for it as it was a good saving plus ended up using Kodi for the sport this weekend which was a waste of time, terrible quality plus all the HD addons seemed to have stopped working.

I think all these great offers almost zero cost is down to Sky trying to stop people going to rivals like netflix - it doesn't cost sky anymore if you've already got the equipment, and it probably looks good on the number of new subscribers when they have to report to shareholders etc.

Yesterday I went into a shop called 'go mobile' who I think are south west only. Came out with Sky family bundle, Sky+ box, HD channels, box sets for £0.00 per month on a 12 month contract. The only cost was £10 installation charge. No broadband or telephone I can just keep my own. Can't quite believe it! It is new customers only or if you haven't had sky tv in the last 12 months I'm assuming as that was asked before the free offer was given.

Recently cancelled my Sky TV and ignored all their offers. Also handed in cancellation notice for broadband. Their rewards team called me two days ago and offered me Sky+HD, with family bundle, unlimited broadband and line rental for £11.31 a month total cost. 12 month contract.
Asked about multiscreen and they said it would cost£5.62 extra but would then mean there's a £5 broadband charge. So £21.93 a month. For two HD boxes, family bundle, unlimited broadband and line rental.
I wasn't sure which one to go for - then they mentioned they could give me a free 2tb box if I went for the multiscreen option. These sell on eBay for around £200.
So £21.93 x 12 = £263.16. Assuming £200 for the 2tb box (I still have my existing Sky+ HD box) and the yearly cost is £63.16. So I went for it.
Approximate £5.26 a month total cost for two rooms with Sky+HD, family bundle, unlimited broadband and line rental.

Ok I took a deal today that I thought might be the best they offer. First tried the Offer/25, told sorry it's not for my account. The lady quickly came up with 50% off with 100 credit. With the credit applied Family bundle for me works out £9.66 a month.

I tried the chat but couldn't get to someone about returning so tried new sky customer, they kept asking about an e-mail with offers.
Said they could do 50% and that's it,
Just trying to get 60% off the original then add it on through quidco, or 60% with credit.
jaynino to Proud9
12 Mar 16#189
I'd give up on the quidco option, very unlikely, and sky take a ridiculously long time to confirm/payout through quidco.
If you can wait until your service it's switched off go to http://www.sky.com/offer25
It looks like the quick and easy route to 60% and £100 credit or the crazy £25 + £100 credit deals while still within cancellation period are over for now. As with a lot of things it's timing/luck of the draw, without actual insider knowledge on how and when the offers are available there are absolutely no guarantees.
Just consider this, in reality all of these offers at 50%+ and some credit for 12 months /or even better 31 day contract, are fairly cheap compared to standard pricing, so weigh up how cheap do you actually need it to be against the time and effort in a possibly vain attempt to get a deal which isn't available for some time.
jaynino to Proud9
12 Mar 16#190
Although I suppose you could try using the quidco or topcashback link and enter 5KYMOVE as the offer code, there's a good chance it won't be honoured.
The latest equivalent to £9.95 per month line rental and standard broadband deal actually mentioned could not be used with cashback in the small print, it didn't stop an order I placed tracking at £89.95 through topcashback but if it pays out I think I'll fall off my seat.

Possibly a stupid question but I will ask anyway ... I originally had two boxes when I was with Sky. I have reconnected as discussed above and my account area shows under My Package
Family
Sky+HD
Digibox (subsided)
Does this mean that multiroom has been activated and the second box "should" connect? Or would multiroom/multiscreen specifically appear somewhere else too (I haven't subscribed separately).and this just means my account has been re-activated and it thinks I still have the second box (as I originally had)? And if that is the case and it is not included, could I get it easily removed (as not part of the current deal) to then be eligible for any multi offers? I have switched it on but I get the "wrong viewing card" message (and have tried pairing it again but it says "There's an error with the Serial Number, please try again" and "There's an error with the Viewing Card Number, please try again".
Many thanks

The mysky hardware section never forgets anything, basically it lists the maximum number of pieces of kit you've ever had on your account.
This sadly does not mean your getting multiroom for free.
Basically ignore this section and just go by the package listed rather than hardware.

10 Mar 16#171
I believe this is THE key factor, being out of the cancellation period means your currently eligible for the sky.com/offer25 deal which is confirmed when you go to that website and login using the primary skyid.
I suspect sky have either finished their top offers for customers still within cancellation or have twigged on to this current technique to get a good offer without actually losing service.

Just read the T&Cs that were mentioned during my chat - this is what is mentioned for the 60% off so appears it will work for Original/Variety/Family:
So assuming I were allowed to downgrade, that probably means it will take 31 days from now if I did contact them through chat to downgrade - and may not get the Family upgrade offer through TCB as it will likely have expired by then (though likely to have another offer then)?
Has anyone gone in with a lower package and then upgraded successfully online while keeping their discount please?

As mentioned I went for Family HD - under review my account it has Cancel HD and Boxsets as the only option under "I'm thinking of changing my subscription." Going through there comes up with various reasons why you should not change, including HD at no extra cost. So I have not proceeded as I am not 100% sure that if I went past that screen I would not end up still won Family pack but without HD or Boxsets ad no reduction in package or costs? Or does removing HD and Boxsets mean you are downgrading to Variety? Can you downgrade your Sky TV package within the 12 month contract or is (in my example) Family HD the lowest package that I can have as that is what I signed up with? Many thanks

I have been told not to contact this team again as I left over 12 months ago (apparently I should really be contacting sales). I have been told a few times over the past few days that this deal is no longer available with £100 credit and hasn't been all week (strange given lots of people have reported getting it :disappointed:).
The best deal I got offered was 60% off and £100 credit, 12 month contract. Each agent can see how many times you have contacted them (and no doubt the transcripts) as it was mentioned durig the conversation that they could see I had contacted them before.
A shame as I would have accepted the £12 per month/£100 credit offer - and was almost there with the 60% off/£100 credit :disappointed: (unless this is part of their negotiating tactics to push back?).

After reading this and other threads, I gave the chat thing a go (have cancelled sky for the past few months).
On chat, I ended up going to 'New to Sky' as everytime I tried the 'left sky within last 12 months' it kept saying chat advisors were busy.
The 'new to sky' chat advisor just offered at 50% off deal, variety package at £15month. Told her a friend had been offered 60% off and £100 bill credit. She asked if I had sky within last 12 months, I said yes. She said she would need to transfer the chat to another dept. She did.
I cut straight to the chase with the new advisor, she initially offered 60% off, then offered £50 bill credit and then finally offered £100 bill credit.
So I now have the variety package at £12 month and £100 bill credit.
I have a sneaky plan to get the family package, topcashback are doing sky existing customer upgrades and offering £50 cashback. I'm gonna try this and see if I get upgraded and get another £50 cashback. I did ask her if I were to upgrade to the family package would my offers still apply, she said yes.
Anon to swiftguy
8 Mar 16#151
Well done - that is a genius approach if it works - if it does it would be worth people going for the lowest package with 60% off and £100 credit (if possible) and then follow your route with the upgrade if the 60% off still applies to any upgrades. Damn not think of this before confirming my deal!
Fellows to swiftguy
9 Mar 16#156
Yep this would work out well as long as the percentage applies to any upgrades. We have the full package in HD with multiscreen so with TCB, that would mean a further £167 cash back over the year, making the monthly cost around £23. That is as long as TCB follows through with payment though.
Plus still not as good as the OFFER25 and £100 credit people got. :disappointed:

Would this work/be possible? £50 more cashback and £50 voucher is very tempting .

I am out of contract and got offered this earlier yesterday and today as I outlined above. Not as good as the £12 per month/£100 credit (£44 for the year/£3.66 per month) but £172-£100=£72/12=£6.06 per month for Family HD for 12 months contract. Anon
6 Mar 161#141
The effective cost per month is the same whether you get the account credit used up first or if it were spread over all 12 months. In fact it is probably better to get the credit up front as Sky regularly put their prices up by above inflation, so at that stage you can put in your notice to quit and potentially get another deal (including credit) to stay.

Just remember, the effective price doesn't actually work because sky will take the account credit first and you'll start paying from month 4.
And even if you made manual payments from month 1, they'd still start taking the full amount on month 4 anyway.

I was out of contract and managed to get 12 months 50% and £100 bill credit without haggling. I also got free broadband. If you haggle you may get more. Try going to Sky.com/offer25 to see what you can get.
jaynino to asmith198399
5 Mar 161#127
I've done a couple of checks and if your service has actually cancelled the offer25 site lets you redeem that £25 complete package offer or take 50% off other packages.
If still within the cancellation period it doesn't offer you anything other than the percentage deal of the week/month (currently 35%)
I posted this to the other thread but thought I'd include it here to give some clarity to all these figures flying around.
Also, just because it's easier to visualise.
Full package is £75.75 per month. £909 for whole year.
£25 deal with no credit is equivalent to 66% discount.
£25 deal with £100 credit (is this actually possible?) is equivalent to £16.67 p/m
60% off with £100 credit is equivalent to £21.97 per month (doesn't work this way as previously stated the bill credit gets used up first rather than split across the year)
50% with £100 credit is equivalent to £29.55 p/m.

60% with 100 credit does seem a good deal, I was told today that in order to get a better deal than the one offered (it was 50% with 100 credit, no contract) to contact retentions - 03442 411 653. Anyone else had similar?

The best I have been offered so far is 60% and £100 credit, which is very good but wondering if it is worth holding out for the £12 per month and £100 credit offer or if (as they say) it has been withdrawn (credit no longer available)?

Also keep an eye out for any online 30-50% offers combined with Topcashback or cashback direct from Sky.
I got the very basic package back in June with 25% off (£15 x 12 months) and then £100 Topcashback and £100 credit from Sky which leaves me £20 up after 12 months!

I just signed up to a rolling contract that I can cancel within 31 days. The Indian guy gave me 60% off family package for 12 months which comes to £8 per month(originally £20.00). He also gave me £100 credit. So get this 12 * 8 = 96 pounds for 12 months. But with the £100 credit I am getting sky completely free for 12 months. Couldn't believe it. Thanks guys!!!!
HankHandsome to Sule

I've just realised you joined like 8 hours ago to post this. Couldn't possibly be a sky employee trying to drum up more interest to get people to come back of course. no. never. not at all
oh, and these effective prices don't actually work because sky don't let you start paying your bill from month one.
if you get the £100 credit, your first bill will be at month four, and will be for the price agreed. So in the terms of the complete bundle, all that will happen is that you'll get the first 3 months for free and you'll be paying £25 a month from month 4.

I cancelled last week as the offered me £5 off. Today I went on chat and said 'my friend was offered £25 a month for everything and £100 credit....' The guy said that deal was no longer available, offered me 50% off ffor 12 months and £100 credit. If the chat was not so time consuming I would have tried for more, but I ended up taking it as it is effectively 3 months free sky and 9 months at £31. I can live with that. It really does seem to be who you get on the other end as to what you get.

i thought about it, but it's too much of a faff to do it just for 3 months. I don't have a sky box in the first place, although the dish is still here as i have my humax box connected to it.
i don't need to go back as i'm not missing anything so i can wait a while longer. my plusnet minimum period is up later in the year, so i can always wait until then to see if i can haggle something even better to include broadband as well.
HankHandsome
3 Mar 16#105
well after another bloody hour of haggling, firstly i got it down to £30.30 for the complete package with £100 credit. tried to squeeze him on that one, but no luck so worked my way around to the original bundle + sky sports for 12 months at £18.20 a month - no HD though.
i backed out in the end. don't need to go back, so i can wait for a better offer. maybe if they'd thrown in the HD on the original bundle, i might have considered it, but no worries.

Thanks OP!
After some haggling with India's online chat I got the following as a returning within 12 months customer using own equipment.
* Complete bundle £30.30 discounted for 12 months (60% off the usual £75.75)
plus £100 credit on account.
Can cancel at any time with one months notice.
My plan is to cancel after 2 months effectively getting 3 months of sky tv for free
3 months @ £30.30 = £90.90 minus the £100 credit means I'll be up £9.10 and gotten the full package free for 3 months. Don't think Sky would be too pleased, oh well..pay back time!

Sonarr is working nicely for me and has been for a long time. I do find it graphically nicer than sickbeard, but the one thing i will give sickbeard is that it does have many more options for torrent sites than Sonarr does. I think this is because Sonarr was originally aimed at newsgroup downloaders rather than torrents.
The other advantage is that it can tie in directly to the synology download station software, so there's no need to install any additional clients - i've got transmission installed and working seperately with it at the moment.
To be honest, with those additional benefits, I'm not quite sure now why I switched to Sonarr in the first place!
It might be because you can use rarbg as a provider and you can't in sickbeard (i think...).

Just checked Quidco, they offer £110 cashback for the original bundle and a £25 reward. Moreover sky gives out a 33% discount which makes it £13.4 / month
£13.4 * 12 = £160.8
£160.8 - £110 - £25 = £25.8
£25.8/12 = £2.15 per month after cashback
Doesn't that might it significant cheaper than this? New customers though.

Not going well. He's insisting that the deal mentioned in the OP was an "exclusive deal that was only rolled out for a few days" and he's not budging.
The lowest they've offered me is £30 quid which is still cheap, don't get me wrong, but I'll only go back if i get it for £18-£22 quid, as has been mentioned by some people as what they've been offered.
i've tried a few things but he's absolutely NOT budging an inch so it's game over for now ..

it takes seconds to get £100 credit, just got mine whilst on lunch break, the chat team know about this, I only asked and the guy gave it without any haggling. I guess some annual report is coming up and they need the numbers up before then.

Anyone tried to contact them as a current customer to argue for a discount on a current subscription to this level? Interested in whether it is worth spending an hour on chat to try and get something off my totally OTT package deal?

Yeah I tried. They won't play ball. You have to go down the cancellation route it seems.

To be fair if you phone sky and ask for cancellations they will always offer you a better price to stay. I've never paid full price for sky and been with them years. Most recent I've had is 50% off for the last 2 years , previously I had free entertainment/family pack for a year, half price sports pack, free broadband for a year and £9.99 line rental. It's all about speaking with the right department as they will always want to keep you as a customer

Anyone not on a contract can get 60% off, 50% off with mulitscreen which is then discounted by 75%plus credit of £100 just by cancelling. Massive thread on misc about this.

I think you get a few more channels and also the box sets from what I can see.
So its basically exactly the same as the other deal posted but with a £50 discount included.

And remember there's no contract. You could actually cancel after 5 months and have actually only paid £10.00 for 5 months TV!

Any idea if this is a long term offer. I recently cancelled Sky as I was paying £30 pm for the family pack which is just too much. This deal is more like it! My subscription stops on 27 March. I wonder if I could get this now, or if I'd have to wait?
mrimac94 to karenvp
29 Feb 161#6
Yeah you can get this now. Done 3 in the last 3 days!
HankHandsome
29 Feb 161#1
So in real-world terms, assuming you join Sky on this offer and the instant credit is immediately applied to your account, you get the first two months for 'free' and then you start paying £25 a month from month three anyway (obviously for the complete bundle), so you're not actually getting it any cheaper ..
weenshukd to HankHandsome
29 Feb 161#3
The normal price for the complete bundle is £75.75 a month. We all know that as a new customer you can probably get a half price offer using a code or something. This is better than half price. It's about 66% off I believe.
Opening post
£7.83 per month for family bundle. (normally £36 per month)
£20.83 per month for the complete bundle. (Normally £75.75 per month)
See below for details.
If you have cancelled Sky within the last 12 months and also have your equipment still there is a cracking deal available to you. I have just done this myself.
Go to http://www.sky.com/shop
In the top right hand corner where it says store locator there should be a chat symbol. If it is not there it's because they are busy. If you wait it will appear.
Choose these options
> I am interested in joining Sky, Then
> I've been a Sky customer in the last 12 months
Chat will connect you.
The deal is this...
*Keep your same equipment
*Choose £12 per month for Family Bundle which includes HD, 3D and boxsets. Or choose £25 for the complete bundle which is the same as above with movies and sports.
*£50 credit on your bill instantly
*Reconnected instantly
*No 12 month contract (30 days notice required to cancel)
Discount is for 12 months then goes back to normal price so set a reminder in your phone or write it down to give 30 days notice.
Price works out like this because...
Family Bundle
12 months x £12 = £144
Minus the £50 instant credit = £96
£96 over 12 months is £7.83 per month
Complete Bundle
12 Months x £25 = £300
Minus the £50 instant credit = £250
£250 over 12 months is £20.83
Thank you and have a good day.

Year in year out they sneak these price rises in and the content is getting less and less (especially as a footie fan).
Said they could do 50% and that's it,
Just trying to get 60% off the original then add it on through quidco, or 60% with credit.
The latest equivalent to £9.95 per month line rental and standard broadband deal actually mentioned could not be used with cashback in the small print, it didn't stop an order I placed tracking at £89.95 through topcashback but if it pays out I think I'll fall off my seat.
12mth contract, 12 mth fibre unlimted for free. only cost is £17.40 for phone line rental. extra £4 per mth for evening & weekend calls or £8 for monthly.
follow the link and stick in the 5KYMOVE code
sorry only catching up with your post now ans you've already found it
Think I'll give it a miss for a few weeks, not even going to go on their **** even though i really want the fibre offer
I'm about to end contract with BT infinity and youview so looking for the best deal with fibre included
Edit: looking through some paperwork I had I found an offer for 50% off the TV packs and free fibre for 12 months, line rental payable. Seems pretty good for all 3 services
Family

Many thanks
This sadly does not mean your getting multiroom for free.
Basically ignore this section and just go by the package listed rather than hardware.
I suspect sky have either finished their top offers for customers still within cancellation or have twigged on to this current technique to get a good offer without actually losing service.
1) £25 for complete bundle with no credit
or
2) 60% off with £100 credit.
How'd you get the £25 with credit?
Unfortunately, many of us have been told the £25 with £100 credit offer ended a week ago and since then it appears the best offer any of us achieved has been the 60% off with £100 credit.
The M'N'S e-voucher has come through, but quidco has not tracked!!!argh!!! ah well, thats the underwear for the mistress ...err....missus sorted
Plus still not as good as the OFFER25 and £100 credit people got. :disappointed:
i was on the £25 all in deal before but now pay £31.75 for everything except the sports package (rarely watched it before anyway) but got the account credit so it works out at about £23.40 per month.
worth waiting until you are an ex-customer to contact them if you want the very best deal.
Alternatively, go to http://www.sky.com/offer25 and start chat from that page as they seem to have access to different (better) deals.
And even if you made manual payments from month 1, they'd still start taking the full amount on month 4 anyway.
I got the very basic package back in June with 25% off (£15 x 12 months) and then £100 Topcashback and £100 credit from Sky which leaves me £20 up after 12 months!
i'd still have to get another sky plus box though, but i suppose i could justify it if i was getting the tv for free ..
oh, and these effective prices don't actually work because sky don't let you start paying your bill from month one.
if you get the £100 credit, your first bill will be at month four, and will be for the price agreed. So in the terms of the complete bundle, all that will happen is that you'll get the first 3 months for free and you'll be paying £25 a month from month 4.
got £100 cashback
£44 / 12 - mine works out to be £3.67/month:smile:
not paying anything until month 8
i don't need to go back as i'm not missing anything so i can wait a while longer. my plusnet minimum period is up later in the year, so i can always wait until then to see if i can haggle something even better to include broadband as well.
i backed out in the end. don't need to go back, so i can wait for a better offer. maybe if they'd thrown in the HD on the original bundle, i might have considered it, but no worries.
i'm just about to try live chat again to see if i can get any joy ..
She started with £30.30 and a £50 credit..then went to £80.. then bingo..£100 credit.
Good luck!
The available deals seem to come through in waves, pity we didn't have someone with a bit more info on the available deals and schedule/criteria for getting certain offers.
Don't think Sky would be too pleased, oh well..pay back time!
thanks mate..
good find
I just did this though saying I changed my mind about cancelling and was offered 50% off my current tv package and free broadband (only pay line rental) for 12 months + £100 credit. So probably worth you trying.
-managed to get family bundle + multiroom for £28.95 with £80 credit so £22 a month which is better than i was paying before
We pay £72.50 for full sky, sports moves in hd and one multi room and this is with a offer we got, that now looks poor
Just looked at our bill and says going to go up to full price £87 in may... We do not think we have a contract so can cancel when this happens, but not sure
So you can get that for £20.83 per month for the complete bundle - multi room?
We been with sky for ever, any advise what to do next?
The other advantage is that it can tie in directly to the synology download station software, so there's no need to install any additional clients - i've got transmission installed and working seperately with it at the moment.
To be honest, with those additional benefits, I'm not quite sure now why I switched to Sonarr in the first place!
It might be because you can use rarbg as a provider and you can't in sickbeard (i think...).
it's tempting, but then i've got the latest humax freesat box and a synology nas drive running sonarr for my US content which works nicely, so unless i got something pretty major, i'll probably leave it alone.
Thanks
I have an Apple TV 4. We watch BBC iPlayer catchup and Netflix. We stream our own content using Plex and sometimes watch All4 catchup via AirPlay. We don't watch live broadcasts as we simply don't need to.
My dad, however, enjoys Sky. The deal I got is for him, for his house.
also wait for Quidco/Sky a day or two to see if free tablet comes back. Not seen my deal beaten.
Family Bundle
12 months x £12 = £144
Minus £100 instant credit = £44
£44 over 12 months is £3.67 per month.
This is for a family member to use by the way. I don't have a TV licence and so don't watch or record live broadcasts.
I saw the article about closing the iPlayer "loophole"
The BBC and the government of the day could have addressed this when catch up services were introduced but then they wouldn't have caught on.
Look forward to seeing how the new legislation is worded.
License, verb.
Licence, noun.
£13.4 * 12 = £160.8
£160.8 - £110 - £25 = £25.8
£25.8/12 = £2.15 per month after cashback
Doesn't that might it significant cheaper than this? New customers though.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for those who contributed to this thread!
First try today and was offered 50% off any package plus a £100 credit after saying a friend had been offered 60% + £100 credit.
Wouldn't budge above 50% and didn't offer the £25 for the full package which I'd have gone for if they added a 50 or 100 pound credit with it.
Apparently until you cancel they do not apply all of the deals to your account, this morning multiple deals were showing on my account, i cancelled yesterday
Don't leave us hanging what did you get?
Now going for the 60% off and credit if I can!
Im going to try again this morning and ask why I was not offered the Offer 25 deal with £100 credit?
i tried the offer25 page as well and it matched a lot of the deals he was offering me - the complete bundle for £25 quid is on there, so he's not actually gone over and above to offer me anything that wasn't already available.
let me know if you get the £18 offer though and i'll try again tomorrow.
Good luck mate.
my person isn't giving up, so i've made one last pitch for the £18 deal ...
he's now saying if i can arrange my own sky box, he can do me the complete bundle, including HD and everything else, for £25 quid a month. i'm tempted, but i don't think i'd be able to afford to buy my own sky plus box .. arrgghh
'''We're really sorry all our Sky Experts are currently busy chatting with other customers. Please try later'''' which is really annoying..
#edit
might have movement .. if i skip HD and movies, he can offer me tv & sports for £22.25 a month ..
#edit 2
turned down the £22.25 and reminded him of my "buddy" getting the £18 deal for the whole package and told him that if i could get that, we'd be doing business, but obviously as that's apparently not possible, i'll leave it alone and try again later. told him i appreciated his efforts very much but i'd be walking away now.
he's just now asked me for my full address so he can "check with the special team" to see if there are any offers ..
i don't really need it, but if they offer it to me for £18 then i'd probably take it ..they've said the account credit offer has expired apparently.
Live chat is busy at the moment. Has anyone tried this does it actually work? Or am I wasting my time. I cancelled sky a week ago beacuse it costs to much. Any help appreciated thanks.
