You can't add to basket when oos.I never said you could.
Sometimes Boots will say "item added to basket" ,actually they do this quite a lot towards end of sales then when you go to your basket it hasn't been added.I've done what 'goldengirlz' suggested many times is add to basket a few times and yes the item sometimes adds to your basket.What I'm saying is 9out of 10 times Boots will email you at some point to tell you that they can't fulfil the order due to lack of stock.

Have done this a few times to get items added to basket.Nine out of ten times you get an email from Boots saying they're unable to fulfil your order due to lack of stock.
