I bought these last year for £107 on amazon, currently £149.99. The RS165 is the newer version but great headphones for the price.

Heat added, bought a pair but don't like them too much. If anyone wants to buy them off me, I'm in central London. Box and receipt come with it.

Wireless on FM is too dated IMHO. Should be Bluetooth v4.1 in my view otherwise no good

The sound with FM is good and the source that these are generally a TV so plenty good enough, then there is the ability to move up the garden or any were in the house ,unless you live in a mansion and still hear.
Bluetooth range is rubbish, using one now but if move outside the room loose the connection .

I keep on seeing that hack but it never works. :disappointed: Plus as a leftie I invested in an electric one which definitely wouldn't work. Really bad packaging.

Voting something cold just because you don't like wireless defeats the object of this site imho. Makes absolutely no sense to me.
If you have a valid criticism of a deal fair enough, but "I don't like wireless" is no reason to vote something cold

It is the wireless transmitter, it connects to the source via a 3.5mm jack, unlike other base stations in the range it is portable and can run on as batteries as well as being mains powered

it's the wireless transmitter, surely. the headphones have the receiver built in.

most of us probably don't have a source that's good enough to make a noticeable difference.

Got two sets of these. Picked them up when Comet was shutting down for a fiver each.
Been going strong and the sound quality is good. Highly recommend them.
Range wise I can walk around the house and still receive the audio.

HEAT!
Great price for the model, but if you can find some later ones
might be a bit better as these are now nearly 8 years old, had
some 185's a while back, but after a while reverted back to
actually listening to speakers without the Hz humming :sunglasses:

I've had some for about 5 years (guessing) and can get up to 15m depending on where I am in the house and how new the batteries are. Would highly recommend - excellent for watching TV after the household has gone to bed.
Nowt in South Yorkshire either.

Great price, I also picked some up from Amazon when they were £100+. They are very comfortable and versatile headphones, and great sound. Recommended.
