Ive got wayyy too many earphones around the house (including a bunch of unused Apple's old earphones). The next pair of earphones I buy will be truely wireless, hopefully Apple releases something alongside their iPhone 7

My CX300 IIs broke a couple of weeks back and, fancying a change, I decided to replace them with a pair of Soundmagic E10s. Unfortunately, while the E10s are decent quality, the sound is much, much quieter than the CX300 IIs. So thanks OP, I’m going back to the CX300s! They may not last as long as other earphones but in terms of sound quality and volume they’re the best in this price range.

If you think E10 has good sound quality, try Sony Ex650, everything is better than E10.
E10's are still £19.99 from the same ebay seller. I wouldn't buy them again, but worth a look in this range.
I ordered last week from Gearbest (and had a pair from Banggood a few months ago). Looks like it's gone up this week. They were $12.49 - a $2 coupon last week, and I think I paid £8.05 for the first pair. If you pay a little extra you can get them from the EU warehouse, should be with you in less than 5 days. Took 11 days to arrive from Banggood China.

Soundmagic E10 was £20 over Christmas, but normally £30.
They do not worth £30. Sony Ex650 at £40 is better than E10 at £30. E10 break easily, quality not as good, so as sound. I have Ex650, E10, CX300 II, and IE 8i.

Xiaomi Piston 3 looks not too bad, and I am quite tempted to order them, however where did you found them for £7.50? The cheapest option I found so far is gearbest for £8.55 but you would have to wait a month or even more.

They're really nice. Best of the budget earphones in my opinion.

What other sets have you tried? Voted hot because it's a good price for these, but I personally found them the worst budget earphones I've tried so far. I've only tried 4 sets in the sub £20 bracket. IMHO
The Musical Fidelity are hard to find at this price but they do pop up every now and then. The others are all available at the prices above and fairly close on quality, just down to personal preference. For me, the pistons are the best of the rest, and at £7.50 fantastic value.
i just paid £26.97 for the CX300 ll's at amazon, are they the same thing, and if so could i check if live chat could get it reduced down to this price?

Assume good price (compared with RRP) but are the phones any good?
I have only used CX300 II before, not CX300. Do not know about CX300

They're nice especially for this price but the plugs could be more durable. My brother killed 2 pairs over the past 3 years. Not a bad result, but could be better still.

These were great, but from what i remember mine and my mate's pair kept on breaking so use with caution. So yeh great sound quality (for the price) but subpar durability

Personally these are better than my Apple ear buds which came with the I pod. but here take a look for your self.
