£5 voucher if £50 or over still valid. I also used my Nationwide 5% off £50 offer. Bargain for the price.

I think Seiko and Epson are one and the same crowd.

Thanks for explaining. Who am I thinking of then? Is it Pulsar? I also recall (maybe not the case any more) that either Casio or Citizen is linked to Epson in some way.

Bought one earlier in the day. Nice looking watch. Got the £5 voucher by getting a 25p chocolate bar instore. Plus due a 5% discount from VISA with my Nationwide credit card so not a bad deal all in.

Citizen is not owned by Seiko and although Orient is, it is run as a stand alone company and their watches are completely different.

Seiko are a great brand. Anyone who knows about watches will tell you that. They invented the first Quartz watch and, as far as I know, also own the Citizen and Lorus brands (plus, I think, Orient which is sold in the far East more than here in the west, but usually identical watches).
The Seiko 5 is considered a classic, for good reason. Their budget Quartz watches are not what they used to be, but I think this one looks excellent value for money.

Was looking at a black Citizen IP watch on Saturday. It was half price at £129. Looked today and there is no mention of it being half price, but the price is £129.
