Was browsing the net for some welders gauntlets as I tend to do most Tuesday nights and came across these. They're £5.42 del with prime from Amazon, but under other buying choices on right hand side Langley Steelworks Ltd are selling them for £3.75 del, they seem to be around £5.50 - £7.50 + postage elsewhere. They have excellent reviews & best of all they're red!.

This pair of Scan cowsplit leather gauntlets with black welted seams feature a one-piece back which provides strength. Fully lined, the guantlets are comfortable to use. At 350 mm (14in) long, they are excellent at protecting the hand, wrist and lower forearm. Excellent for Welders.

Initial thought: cheap deal but will resist (I don't weld).
Then I read the reviews (you know, just to check I definitely don't need them) and useful for log burners, fire pits and even cutting prickly hedges. Result: sucked in :smiley:

Buy another pair, keep them in the fridge (spider-free), then use the second pair to protect your hands when you check the first pair. :wink:
