Good price but would never buy from Ebuyer again. I bought a hard drive from them. It was faulty. I took a picture of the SN and returned it via their courier. They told me the HD was fine. If I wanted a refund they would charge me £15 restocking or I could have it back free. I got it back and it worked. Checked the SN and it was a different HD. Looks like they were trying to get £15 for nothing. When u hear lots of bad stories about a company - beware.

Great price. Just a shame it is Ebuyer.

Nothing wrong with Ebuyer for me. We all get it, some people don't like Ebuyer, Scan.co.uk, etc. they don't need to bring it up in every single thread without fail.

Some people have had problems with Ebuyer. Your experience of them may well have been good and its good that you highlight it but equally some of us it hasn't been so good. Nothing wrong with people relating their feeling/experience. At least every body can then make an informed decision about buying from them.
Its Hot price from me regardless of who is selling it but as someone mentioned will wait till it hits the sweet spot of £100...... Roll on Black Friday :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, but in every single thread someone will whinge and moan about it and we all know it. I, and many others have had good experiences with them but I don't shout about that every time someone **** them off. No matter what company, people have good and bad experiences and it's the bad ones that are heard the most - so it's not really an informed decision as such. I get your point, but surely you're bored of it too?

Agree people often come up with either stupid comments or crap that I'm bored of hearing but providing they are respectful in their opinions, have every right to air it as irksome as it may be.

Like you I've had no problems personally with eBuyer, but I do feel it's an important issue especially when people are spending their hard earned money. The only way you find out how good a company really is, is during their after support. Maybe if people were more descriptive of their issues it might be more helpful. Personally I've more of an issue when people just moan about a brand they don't like, e.g. Apple, when it's just an option, clogs up the thread and has no basis on the deal itself.

I agree it's annoying to hear anecdotal stories about bad customer service, but ebuyer take it to a whole other level. They achieve low prices by refusing as many return requests as possible. They often don't honour even their legal obligations until you threaten legal action. Utterly soulless company.
Wait a while, and this will be back until £150 on Amazon. If anything goes wrong with the ssd, you'll be glad you waited.

ebuyer and scan are both awful when it comes to returning hard disks. amazon is no questions asked, they pay the postage, hell sometimes they'll send a replacement first. sure they don't pay any tax, but you can't beat their customer service.

I've seen in a few sites that they've marked this model as discontinued... Any idea if Sandisk is coming up with something new? or another reason for discontinuing these models?

No news as of yet. People were expecting a new announcement at CES but as of yet, nothing. SSDs will get cheaper, but this is a good deal as of this year.
